    Yeah he's got the top 5 hitters in the top 5 spots. There are some gripes I have with the order but it's close enough. Bottomline they need to start hitting better.

    Some of these changes are good but some of them are bad. I guess getting Pillar in to the bottom third is what is best.

    Based upon defense alone he is passable in CF though some think he could be at least average there if not better. But his arm which rates at a 45 on the 20/80 scale makes him more suited for LF over anywhere else.

    It's especially retarded when the manager doesn't even use him to pinch hit for Goins late in games. If he's not good enough to do that, he's not good enough to bat 2nd when he does actually play.

    I don't know about Smith hitting 2nd but giving Tulo and Pillar a day off sounds good to me. When they return they should be batting 7th and 8th.

    Exactly. This was a s***** game. We had a lot of hard hit balls and Pearce was tatooing the ball with his bases loaded AB. Not saying we should have won but this was a much closer game than the score sets forth.

    Exactly. Any half decent high school player knows that your approach 2-0 with the bases loaded is to look for a fastball over the plate. If you don't get it then don't swing. Is he not thinking up there and just goes off instinct or what?

    Pillar is just awful. He's got to be moved to 8th in the lineup.

    He's got a good voice but his play calling is really hit or miss. He'll nail one call out of 4 or so it seems. He also takes really long pauses.

    Man, if someone could teach him how to hit flyballs he could be a star. His wRC+ is 121 while also having a 55.3% GB rate.
