    Does anyone have an article regarding hamate breaks? Doesn't it basically affect the hitter's power for the rest of the season? My fantasy team is light on steals but I had DeShields hoping he'd help. Might drop him now instead of carrying him on the DL.

    Yeah but did those previous Jays teams feature switch-hitting extraordinaire Yangervis Solarte as the cleanup hitter? I think not.

    Lucky f***er keeps getting hurt while he's on the big league roster. He's getting big league paychecks and accruing service time. Dalton Pompey is on the big league DL too. Pretty sure that is what's happening.

    Yeah it really reminded me of Bautista. He just really lobbed it to try and protect his arm. Donaldson looked like my beer league softball 3B over there.

    Donaldson is going to DH tonight. Solarte is likely to make his debut. Definitely an improvement given Donaldson's arm. What's going to suck though is when Travis needs a rest (they said he'd play 3 or 4 games in a row max). Then Gift will play. Hopefully Donaldson's arm gets better soon.

    Well it was revealed that they get a cut of all that action so I don't know why they would do that.

    Yeah to retire in your 20s I think 8 mil is probably good but you aren't balling or anything. He also had his revenue stream cut unexpectedly so I doubt he had a full 8 mil saved up. He can probably semi-retire but he'll need to work some.

    What the hell is going on here? I wanted to talk about how s***** Fangraphs' new podcast has become and now everyone is chiming in on political stuff. I should have known better so yes, I will accept my ban but can we all just agree to a cease fire? Next time Fangraphs does something s***** I'll start a new thread instead of ruining this one.

    It's not my fault at all. I am doing god's work over here transcribing that shithole Gendergraphs podcast so no one else has to listen to it. This is Fangraph's fault. I'm sticking strictly to what is being discussed on the internet's favorite baseball statistical analysis site. You guys are going hard on the job stuff not me. If anything, we should ban all Fangraphs links from the board.

    They are now discussing domestic violence and fantasy baseball and how she doesn't pick up domestic violence guys because "she doesn't want to win anything with a guy who has hit his girlfriend." In her small way it might force change. The other hosts are chiming in that this is their second time playing fantasy baseball and they do the same thing. All are very proud of themselves. As an aside, are there any other pod hosts on fangraphs who only started playing fantasy baseball? Yeesh, do these people write for Rotographs too? Maybe they aren't actually qualified and only got jobs for some other reason....

    The guest referred to itself as someone who was "assigned woman" and "nongender conforming" who plays baseball and has had to change "their" game because of it. "They" does seem to have a pulse though. The others are really, really bad. All the questions were pre-written and there is no back and forth or anything. Just reading one question after the others. They are now discussing how there are "literally no jobs in this country that aren't male-dominated." And how any jobs that females have now are because men "finally allowed it." Male-dominated is an offensive term not because it's true, but because it's so true in every single field that it should not even have to be used. If it wasn't so boring it would be some hilarious s***. It is sad that fangraphs is pimping this crap though.

    I'm about 2 min in. The guest is some sort of genderfluid comedian I've never heard of. Actually has some personality. The others have barely spoken but when they have it sounds like they are reading off of cards.
