    Their trades have been good and I like the moves to cut bait on the veterans. I'd have to look at all the FA they've signed but off the top of my head a lot of them have sucked. But since they haven't given out many big contracts they aren't really doing any lasting damage. All that said, the team is awful right now. I'd probably give them like a B+ or A-?

    Tonight's lineup is going to be ugly.

    Agreed, Org. He ranked #10 last year in sprint speed. Apparently has a 60 arm as well. Weak bat but he bats left handed so his Steamer projected 84 wRC+ could play up over the course of a season if he rarely bats against lefties. Does anyone know if he made any adjustments last year? He hit the ball well in AAA after being pretty mediocre at nearly every level before that. Maybe there's more to his bat than we've seen so far.

    Buck is fine. With Pat I go back and forth between crazy uncle and dipshit but with all the young guys he's driving me nuts. Madani is awful. I actually like Hazel Mae. I think the broadcast production is really good too. Maybe after a month Pat's "new young player" colloquials will disappear and he'll get back to his normal self. I'm sure I'll be back eventually. But the radio team is solid so I'll try them out some but it's also kind of cool getting to know the other club's broadcast eams. As a baseball nut it's another feather of knowledge to add to the cap.

    He's so awful. Bring back Barry or just let Hazel Mae do it. Buck, Pat and Arash are just so bad I can't help but watch the other team's broadcasts this year.

    Hudson is trash. I didn't like it when we signed him and I especially don't like him now.

    It's devoid of talent but the actual construction of it is fine. Backup C, UT guy, the extra platoon bats who pinch hit to go along with a CF/pinch runner.

    This is going to be a long season and I simply can't take Buck and Pat anymore. Going to be listening to the opposing team feeds or our radio feed all year.

    I think Drury's best position is 2B where his bat plays up. Then Gurriel can become the UT guy.

    Agreed. Seems like the type of extension that is given to players who are viewed as more safe commodities. Grichuk's outcomes seem extremely volatile. Seems like the bottom is more likely to fall out then he is to realize his potential by fixing his offensive flaws.

    I'm fine with this but Grichuk does carry some risk IMO. His plate discipline is absolute s*** and it it were to bottom out any more than it already has he's almost unplayable. That said, if he improves it at all then we are looking at a very very good player.
