  1. Updated: Saturday night: The Jays are winning the World Series. After Game 1: We're in okay shape, we will still win the series. After Game 2: Season is over, kill me. During the Day Off: You know what, I still think we have a chance.... Leading into Game 3: Win this game and we are right back in it
  2. For sure. Not many of these jobs to go around though. Hopefully anyone worth their salt, like Click, is getting some assurances on how ownership will stay out of baseball ops.
  3. 2-time World Series Champ is going to turn back the clock and shove. I can feel it.

  5. Yeah true but it's still pretty random. We've been hitting our fair share of homers this postseason as well. Same amount of homers in 1 less game. And we've been piling on the hits too. 125 wRC+ compared to the Mariners 95. They were lucky to eek by a Tigers team that isn't very good. They were actually outscored in that series by a run despite winning 3 games to 2. Now they've had two good games in a row and the perception is that they are some super team swatting home runs and making their own luck and we suck. But in reality we've outplayed them during the entirety of the postseason, our sequencing just sucks by having two bad games in a row to start off the series.
  6. What if Bieber spins a gem tomorrow and Mad Max turns back the clock one more time in Game 4?
  7. Yeah and on top of it we struck out 4 and 5 times, respectively. The hard hit balls aren't dropping and we aren't getting any lucky bloopers either. Normally you'd expect at least some of those sub .200 xBAs to drop. Mariners meanwhile are striking out like crazy but when they do make contact it's dropping, despite some pretty darn low xBAs.
  8. Possible but the motivation will be high because how often will the Jays be playing ALCS baseball just a short drive away? Mariners had plenty of tickets still available until they had actually clinched too while the Jays were sitting around waiting.
  9. The Mariners have struck out 25 times in the two games so far and the Jays have struck out 9.
  10. Meaning this gritty Jays team will some how sweep in Seattle only to return to TO where the Mariners will take two fat dumps on us in the Rogers Centre again.
  11. It was a weird game, we struck out 4 times all game and couldn’t buy a hit to save our lives Higher xBA than them and they out hit us a lot. If we win tomorrow we are in decent shape still but it’s almost a must win.
  12. Hopefully tomorrow he can aim his line drives better
  13. World Series doesn’t start for almost two weeks. If we make it I bet he’s back.
  14. Vegas has it about the exact opposite. On paper the teams are pretty close. I think the Cal/Julio combo and their rotation and Closer would be enticing for a projection system. But they looked like crap against the Tigers who kind of suck. The rest/travel stuff will play a factor and overall the Mariners never really impress me much with their on field performance and game plans. They can develop talent, especially pitching, but it seems like they are perpetual underachievers. Same could be said about us I suppose but this year seems to be different.
  15. They aren’t fatas5es living sedentary life styles like you. No chance they get 2 day hangovers.
  16. We need to hammer these a$$holes in games 1 and 2
  17. Reported
  18. No lefty SPs for the Mariners. Let Nathan Lukes and Addison Barger cook.
  19. Has it dawned on you guys that we might actually be in the midst of a World Series run right now and we just don't know it yet? In other words, this might end up being one of the most memorable months of our lives and we are currently living through it. I've already got anxiety for Sunday's game and we don't even know who we are playing yet.
