  1. I agree with that as well. But that's not what Brownie is saying. He also adds that he thinks all Domincans go home and eat like crap and "f*** around on the sandlot." lol
  2. Wow both of his homers in that clip are insane for a 20 year old. The first one was a laser to dead center that EASILY cleared the fence. The second one was a bomb that the camera couldn't even track.
  3. Ok well then you agree with me. The season including Spring Training is about 7.5 months. Even you Mr. Robot Baseball thinks they should get a few months off. Well there's only 4.5 months left in a year so a few months of rest basically eats that up by the time they get to ST.
  4. Why do you assume that they are all "f***ing around in a sandlot" just because they go home in the offseason to train? lol Also, it takes two to tango. If you are an organization that compels its players to become lab rats that might not work out as well as you think. Each player is different and will have different training needs.
  5. A 10 pitch AB is going to be grueling for the pitcher.
  6. LOL who do you think these players are? They aren't soldiers conscripted into the military. They are people who work for the organization. It's a long grueling season and some of them need a mental break (or franky to see their kids and family) which can be better served in their home countries which they haven't been to in the 7.5 months they are working. They aren't robots. On top of it there's plenty of stuff they can do down in the Dominican Republic anyway (or Arizona or Vegas or Mexico or wherever else they are from). These guys have been playing baseball wherever they are from for the first 18 years of their lives and many of them have turned in to stars so I think the DR is well equipped enough to help them train. It's not going to kill them to go home and train there. Plenty of the greatest players of all time have done it. They don't have to give their lives up and live some scientific baseball experiment where they live in a baseball lab and baseball scientists run tests on them 24/7. Lol give me a break pal!
  7. Forget Roy Firestone, BJMB would have a real life celebrity in connorp after his 90 Day Fiance appearance.
  8. I could really fire a cannon shot at Grant right now after he posted that low hanging fruit but I'd have to insult the entire country of Canada to do it and it's just not worth it IMO
  9. I read somewhere that Atkins sees him throwing 100 innings this year.
  10. Yeah that's fair. To be clear I think he could still be a starter but I'm not sure I see him being a frontline starter. The prospect shine is wearing off and it seems like his ceiling is dropping. And I just don't see him as a workhorse that can approach 200 innings either. But maybe he can still be a mid rotation arm.
  11. Look up the A's roster on Roster Resource bud
  12. The ship has sailed on him becoming a frontline starter but it seems like he could still become a late inning fireballer or multi-inning reliever.
  13. Yes in LoD we traded him for James Kaprielian, the #2 SP for the Oakland A's.
  14. Let's get things back on track here. How does everyone feel about Jon Berti this year? My co-owner just traded him for a #2 Starting Pitcher in a league I'm in.
  15. As board Sheriff my job is to "sheriff" the board. What that means is that I must patrol the whiny crybabies and spazzes who attack the board. Sometimes it's an Orioles Hangout troll, sometimes it's a Greg Bird superfan. But, as Sheriff it's also my job to protect the mild-mannered contributors who simply mind their own business from the board retards like you. So really I'm just here to both protect and to serve. Hope that clears it up for you.
  16. Fake News connorp. TL blocked me and couldn't even see my messages. He got into a spat with the mods who gave him a short timeout but in typical TL fashion he threw another s*** fit and quit. And I had nothing to do with that. In fact, after he rejoined under a new name to try and get the last word in he saw my post and had said the he forgot I had even existed. So take it from the man himself, I'm not the reason he quit. Plus, even so TL would dish it out so it's not my fault he couldn't take it. I was just better at it. FantasyNewb never dishes it out. Therefore, he shouldn't have to take it. I know you are socially retarded but that's generally how this stuff works.
  17. Lol I can see how you would want to make the comparison but they are completely different. FantasyNewb is a mild mannered guy who gets along with everyone and you bully him anyway. TL on the other hand was a spaz and crybaby. Yeah, he made cool GDTs and had a nice spreadsheet. But he had horrible takes and treated the fantasy thread as his own personal trophy room. I wasn't the reason he quit anyway as he had me blocked for a long time. He started complaining about the mods who then banned him for a day and then he spazzed out again and quit. But don't worry he'll be back. Probably when future superstar Nick Frasso throws his first clean inning for the Dodgers.
  18. Now now don't let the board idiot push you out. We enjoy having you here and I like your fantasy questions/discussion. I'd suggest you block him first and try that before quitting. Would hate to lose you.
  19. Barger/Orelvis 3 WAR platoon.
  20. I'm sure there's an answer but how does Berrios project for a higher ERA than Manoah and Bassitt with better STUFF+ & LOCATION+ rating?
  21. Can't remember where but I thought I read that Martinez's defense was very good and they expected him to be an above average 3B. Might have been Keith Law.
