Elimination day is now upon us so might as well prepare.
Here are some ways it could unfold.
1. The soul crusher
Jays lose the next 2, Yankees win the next 2, and the mid week games we have looked forward to for weeks are rendered meaningless. Even Michael Kay is bored at the mid-week exhibition that is nothing but a wild card tune up for his Yankees. "The health Unit has let us have 30,000, cheer on your Jays, by the way the games are meaningless... sorry bro!"
2. The Yankee Win! The Yankees Win!
Jays win one of the next 2, Yankees lose a couple so the games are meaningful, but Jays lose a couple in soul crushing fashion, getting Michael Kay very excited.
3. Keirmaier's revenge
Jays win a couple in Minnesota, and a couple against the Yankees and are still in it as late as Saturday... mysteriously on the weekend. Keirmaier blows a key play against the Yankees in their win that clinch's it for them. Guess his buddy's the Blue Jays won't make the playoffs. Kevin will be sad. Or will he?
I feel the mostly likely is scenario 1, the soul crusher.
