    I first met Aaron at his first spring training at the Mattick Complex as a skinny 18 year old....such a nice kid... so happy for him.

    You're right about the crapshoot...2 pts total from an outfield of Cargo, Trout and Trumbo and Lewis goes 1.1 innings giving up 7 runs against Oakland....go figure. Lester should get you enough points to drop me into last.

    I can update you on the AFL as I will be in Scottsdale from Oct 7- Oct 21. Hopefully the Jays send some interesting prospects there....anxiously awaiting the announcement.

    I think it's more of a front office issue. I talked to Pompey's dad at a Bison's game last year ( I had met him in Phoenix at an AFL game) and he mentioned that he was sending Dalton to Florida to work with Mickey Brantley...left the club for a few days. I'm sure that didn't sit well with Jays brass. Brantley was not working for the Jays at the time..it was more like private instruction.

    Good start . Ramirez 3/4 with a double and a walk...also Urena 3/5 with a triple in his AA debut.

    King- Do you know where Ramirez and McGuire will be playing? I know that they were both in AA for the Pirates. I'm hoping that one or both end up in Buffalo...gives me a reason to go to their games besides watching Pompey and Montero.
