  1. Raptors lose 144-118 next game
  2. Here's an original idea. The Osuna for Giles trade was a win for BOTH teams. Both of them got rid of a player who was seen as a cancer for them and got a more-than-adequate replacement in return.
  3. Raptors down to +134 underdogs to win series.
  4. The one should = everyone And The finals should = 24/7/365 But he is a useful mascot, I guess.
  5. Holy f*** dude, learn to seperate the two points I was trying to make. Point 1 was that the Blue Jays, as a franchise located in Toronto, has a history of attracting good free agents despite the inferiority complex some fellow Canadians want us all to have. Point 2 was that all evidence points to Rogers not being cheap since the Beeston/AA era. As far as the list being very long, if the Blue Jays signed more than 3% of notable free agents over the years, they have signed an above average amount compared to the other 29 teams in the league. Also, your baseball card is worth about a penny in mint condition. Go suck a lemon Ducey.
  6. Well, to be fair, the team is also AIDS at the moment so we gotta expect some frustrations to vent. I prefer to take it out on a midget whipping boy trolling the NBA thread.
  7. So much stupid going on ITT: "Toronto will never sign big free agents". No just Hall of Famers like Roger Clemens*, Paul Molitor, Dave Winfield and Frank Thomas along with star players like Dave Stewart, Jack Morris, Jose Canseco, AJ Burnett and the aforementioned Russell Martin. (*assume a normal world where he makes it) "Rogers is too cheap" The payroll has been pretty high since the Marlins trade and several of those signings I just mentioned has been under Rogers. They made substantial financial commitments to Bautista and Encarnacion once they broke out. We live in a FA world where star pitchers sit on the sidelines and the two best players remained unsigned until spring training. ALL teams are frugal with FA bucks now. The way to win is to develop your own players and make good trades with using the FA market to supplement the roster.
  8. Nah, he's just LeBron's personal jock sniffer, along with Trump (antithesis of LeBron except rich and famous) because connor is a beta male who looks up to alphas as his god-men. Thus the love for Muhammad as well. Uh oh, I hope I don't get another threat/insult like last time.
  9. The City of Toronto has a giant screen situated just outside the ACC or whatever the hell it's called now and people like to congregate around that screen whenever important playoff games are being broadcast.
  10. See post two above this one.
  11. I agree with the assessment that Toronto-hating Canadians who bandwagon jump on our city's teams when they're good should get their own team to cheer for. That includes Mississauga.
  12. Looks exactly like my stock picks.
  13. You should see the gif of the dude's face literally exploding after getting an uppercut from a ladder or when Sid Vicious' leg shattered when he jumped off the top rope. I already knew wrestling hurt.
  14. The angry short American who somehow has man-crushes on both LeBron and Trump with nothing better to do on his Saturday night than to troll a city about its basketball team the very night it clinched its first NBA finals appearance - and he likes that city's baseball team for some reason - is calling me a keyboard warrior. I'm very upset.
  15. Raptors are down to +237 dogs. I feel so smart for getting in at +260.
  16. Luckily this GIF exists though, representing that you are an annoying midget that needs to be kicked out of this thread:
  17. Another right-wing lunatic hanging on for dear life with one hand to the overloaded bangwagon, dragging his feet on the pavement calling the team "we" now. At least be consistent like connor.
  18. OMG the Raptors are +260 underdogs against the Warriors to win the finals they are going to have to win the next 18,396.2 games or else they lose and the whole franchise is disbanded and the entire city of Toronto is ripped from Earth's orbit and thrown directly into the sun WE ARE SCREWED
  19. Just checked. The Jays pitchers are 2 for 5 this year so they're actually improving the Jays stats. Maybe the team should let their pitchers hit more.
  20. Raptors are uber f***ed. Unless they win the next two games, they're out. s*** team bye Leonard.
  21. Not only that but losing Bergen and keeping Luciano are two completely different decision points. The former being somewhat out of the team's control. I don't understand the logic behind whining about this. The Jays have what...about 19 players actually deserving an MLB roster spot? Jettisoning Luciano for some other s***** player doesn't make much sense to me. Jettisoning Luciano for Keuchel makes sense to me. But with the way this front office has worked this year I don't think this is a very likely scenario.
  22. The self-admitted Raptors bandwagon jumping fan is now dumping newb NBA knowledge on us about how #TheFinalsWillBeEasyToWin. Even referred to the team as "we". If this is not a curse I don't know what is.
  23. You're right, no chance. Bucks in -5.
  24. Ontario Place would be the most obvious spot I can think of, but I don't want to have to travel to that area again, it sucks getting there by transit. But this stadium talk is pure madness...unless Rogers sells the Dome location to condo developers then it makes sense. But not one taxpayer cent.
  25. This team is garbage. They will probably lose in 6. They need to win the next three in a row to have any chance of winning this series.
