he's struck out 4 through 3 innings and hasn't given up a walk yet. He doesn't appear to be that bad...He doesn't have the velocity he used to, but he can still pitch.

yeah...that happened last year and his wrc+ last year was 90. That is coming from our 1st baseman. If we wouldn't have extended him we could have had napoli for 8.5 mil, or placed pearce at first full time and upgraded in the outfield. -
Yeah...a guy who isn't very bright and not that accurate is going to be able to read defenses with 1 more man to complicate things. He probably had a better chance of being a star running back in the CFL.
