    that's why I said Asdrubal. He's expiring. I'd rather have that powder for JT Realmuto. We wouldn't even have to trade Jansen. He'd be a great back up catcher.

    Imagine this year and next with Seager and you add Lynn who is also here this year and next. i think those 2 make us legit contenders this year and next. We would still have a lot of money to spend on a starter to add to Ryu, Lynn and Pearson for next year.

    He's a quality pitcher with a very reasonable contract next year. It will be interesting to see how much they can get if they do trade him. I'd include Groshans in a deal. The rest of this board would not though...lol.

    Fair points. Bundy scares me. Lynn is the guy I really want. He gives you a chance to win this year, and next year.

    White sox in on lynn and Bundy....We should be too! Might be the only arms available. Go get Cabrera or Seager while you're at it!

    Yeah. His o swing numbers are only marginally better than the last year, but his o swing contact rates are drastically better. He's staying on the ball better and fouling off sliders getting additional pitches rather than swinging over them. I mean not all of his points are without merit, but to say he's the same hitter is wrong. He's likely not as good as his numbers show now, but he's more than likely an improved version of what he was last year.

    There's the Ryu signing......size able gap and then whatever else Atkins has signed. Ryu was such an amazing signing. It took some balls because of the injury risk and dollars. The guy is fantastic. I can't believe he got charged with 2 runs last night. Seriously who is doing the scoring? That was another 6 runs 0 earned runs performance.
