  1. Ryu doesn't need to know a lot of english...He just needs to learn, "Get your s*** together"
  2. all he had to do was slide and he would have gotten back to first.
  3. give him a day off, but do it against the Redsox, not the Marlins! Villar batting 3rd is just ridiculous.
  4. We're facing a decent marlins team and he sits Teo when we have 5 games in 4 days against the Sox upcoming. We bat Villar in the 3 hole not the 7 hole. Charlie does not disappoint at all.
  5. I thought he was safe.....Can we get rid of Shaw too....
  6. so the Marlins got rid of Villar who made the error that cost us a run and acquired Marte who hit the go ahead homer....pretty good trade deadline for the Marlins.
  7. tough raps loss..I need a jays win to pick me up..lol
  8. bring up kirk....I can't watch Mcguire.
  9. little league at bat here....no swinging Mcguire.
  10. Teoscar reborn is a fun upgraded version.
  11. I listen to sirius quite a bit. I've heard some awful away radio announcers. One crew I did like was the Indians radio team.
  12. about time. I'm guessing Wag and SRF come off the roster for Ray and Stripling. Would love to cut from Font, but there's some mad love for Font.
  13. I feel like the one on the right if they just had the image of the Jays logo and the city image on the back half of the hat it might look OK.
  14. Let's look at 6 starts and ignore his entire career. He's a pretty good player who's had a rough start to the year. The 2 guys I really wanted were Lynn and Bauer, and neither were traded. I was very pleasantly surprised we got stripling.
  15. You can't ignore the strike outs, but you can't ignore the walk rate or power either. He only had one full season in the minors. That was last year, his age 21 season. He's definitely a kid who has a shot at making the major leagues. He certainly could develop and cut his K rate. We have a chance to win and we got a player who improves out chances. I wish Conine all the best. He's a couple years away. I'm more worried about what Villar can do for or team now. I think he can help our team now. I don't think Conine is a nothing prospect. You have to give a guy with at least some upside to get something of value in return.
  16. I just like Kirk's swing. He reminds me of Dustin Pedroia except he has a 100 pounds on Pedroia....lol
  17. He put up a .651 OPS in AAA Buffalo in 2018 and a .683 OPS in AAA buffalo in 2019. I think there's a pretty good chance he's not very good. Obviously not as bad as his numbers this year, but not very good.
  18. Is it wrong of me to wish a sprained ankle on Mcguire....nothing too serious.
  19. Why the Rowdy hate. He came in with the game on the line and stayed on a tough slider not in the strike zone and knocked it into right field and we almost tied the game. He came into the game with a .217 Babip and his exit velocity is the same as last year, but his K rate has dropped dramatically and his walk rate has ticked up slightly. I'll take an above average hitter with a .217 Babip, especially from a guy who's showing improvement and has big boy power. On top of that he provides league average defense at first. I don't think Vogelbach is going to take a lot of playing time from Rowdy to be honest.
