    Yeah, gurriel is a head scratcher. 69 PA and 1 double. He's suppose to hit bombs and doubles. He's going to lose playing time when Teo and Springer are both back.

    Rowdy went 0 for 21. He was striking out, not laying off pitches, pulling off pitches. He was bad. Since then he's had 36 PA. He's had 11 hits hitting .306 only 5 Ks 14% strike out rate and his average exit velocity for the year including the bad stretch is 96.5. Rowdy has shown the ability to elevate the ball and hit it out. He's hitting it hard. The home runs will come. He hit one 391 feet in his second at bat against Glasnow. It was a long out. He hit it to dead center. If he pulls it, it's gone. I get that you can't discount the bad times and only look at the good, but he seems to have turned a corner. He just needs the plate appearances to straighten the numbers out. It would be nice to see a few more walks, but really the entire team is pressing because the offense has been bad. Springer is going to help.

    Right near the Yankees. Just what you would have hoped for prior to the season starting!

    Tanner Scott came into that game in the 8th, couldn't find the strike zone walked the bases loaded with one out in the 8th and Odor comes up batting 4th in the Yankees lineup. He strikes out swinging with one ball in the strike zone and swings at 2 balls well outside the strike zone. Like how is Odor batting 4th in the Yankees lineup. Boone should be fired. I mean, I hope he never is for the Jays sake.

    Ryu is clearly underrated by media, fans and teams. We wouldn't have him for 4 and 80 right now if he wasn't under rated. That was considered a big over pay by most. It's looking like a pretty fair deal right now. I'm glad he's ours!

    He's a good pitcher a 3.82 career FIP and a 4.03 career ERA, but against us he's got an era under 2. I stand by the Kryptonite comment. Yarbrough has our number!

    Yarbourgh is Jays Kryptonite. Other teams get to him, but not us.

    He's just as likely to injure himself playing in Alt Site games. He got 7 ABs in. Activate him today! Who do we send down? Davis or Palacios?

    He's a lefty who rarely strikes out. I would have started him too.

    Pearson vs Springer tomorrow. Do you want Springer to get a hit, or do you want Pearson to get a strike out! They will probably put them on the same team.

    Rowdy looked lost his first 21 ABs. He's looked a lot better since. 47 PAs is nothing, and it's all about process. If Rowdy has 3 hard hit balls per night, some of them he will elevate and they will be out of the park. It's the pop ups and 3 strike out nights that people should complain about.

    Borucki! I even have to say props to charlie for putting him out there for the 2nd inning. I didn't think he would.

    He just struck out on a really good change up. His previous 3 at bats he hit the ball 96.2, 106.2 and 98. Sometimes you get hard contact and get nothing. Danny's had hard contact too with nothing to show for it.

    statcast considers hard hit contact 95 and above.
