  1. nice to see Rowdy adjust and make solid contact. Good AB.
  2. He was due for a homer. He's been hitting the ball harder getting lots of singles. He was bound to elevate one and hit it out. Hopefully this gets him really going.
  3. That's a shame. He was looking so confident at the plate and looked quite comfortable behind the plate as well. Hopefully he's ready to go when the 60 is up.
  4. Biggio didn't look that happy in the dugout. Jansen did swing. I think it was a hit and run.
  5. My old man has 20 rounds in already here in Sask.
  6. In order to be considered a hard hit ball on statcast it has to be 95mph. That doesn't even qualify to be a hard hit ball! To be fair, Danny's had some crap luck he had more than one 105+ mph line drive outs. The baseball gods owed him one.
  7. I make a point of listening to Brewers games on Sirius when I'm in the car. I can't believe Eucker is still calling games. He's 87!
  8. That pitch that Correa hit was at the top of the zone and 3 inches inside off the plate. Sometimes you have to tip your hat to the hitter...
  9. I look forward to watching Kay, like I look forward to going to the dentist. Please Ross, Pearson for Sunday...fingers crossed. There's a reason they haven't listed a starter for Sunday. Pearson is in the mix for consideration.
  10. He threw 78 pitches, not 70. He should be good for 90 in a natural progression. Every game matters. He should pitch Sunday.
  11. Why is Anthony Kay blocking Pearson? This is no longer a health issue or building up. Pearson is good for 90 pitchers. He's entirely healthy. It's now a performance issue. If Pearson doesn't start Sunday, you feel Kay gives you a better chance to win. I'm on team Pearson. He gives us the best chance to win on Sunday. It's not like Kay is a guy that's going to get to 110 pitches.
  12. Pearson dominated his first start. He got squeezed. The strike zone was super tight in his start. He should have been 9 K's 4 scoreless without accounting for the fact that the tight zone probably cost him another 15 pitches and another inning. He wasn't getting the calls on the edges and had to challenge guys. Houck is a pretty advanced pitcher and he got rocked dealing with the same conditions. Pearson should be starting Sunday. I'm still hopeful he will. Pearson like all pitchers didn't have the time to ramp up properly last year. He had some dead arm and elbow tightness. It wasn't anything too serious. He missed 5 weeks and came back an dominated. He had a groin strain. Arm injuries, are the concerning ones for pitchers. I hope Pearson starts Sunday and has a healthy 2021 so he can shake this injury reputation that is largely unfair. A couple minor injures and bad luck getting hit on a comebacker shouldn't put Pearson in the perpetually injured category.
  13. Rowdy had a double a homer and 2 walks. The walks really encouraging. I'd really like Panik to go on the IL for 10 days...bring Rowdy back.
  14. He was taken 11th overall in the first round and he was the 2nd pitcher selected in 2019. We should have high expectations for him. He's definitely delivering. I can't wait to see him in june or July!
  15. Rowdy just hit a homer to the deepest part of the park. He needs to get some confidence going.
  16. 5 Ks through 3, no runs given up. I'm listening to the game. No hits, no walks. Just one hit batter. Perfect game is done, no hitter in tact.
  17. everybody with a hit except Vlad...talk about a crazy day.
  18. OK...I did not see 8 and 9 coming up and scoring 2 runs!
  19. to be fair to Gurriel he took a ball off the plate the previous pitch and it was called a strike. The ump screwed him. He had to expand the zone.
