Holy f*** listening to the drivel that comes from the stands really lowers the experience. Every time I hear "run faster!" on a routine groundball I die a little inside. I've never been to another park but I find it hard to believe there's another stadium in the league where you'd find more disinterest in the actual game. On sunday, in the last inning of the season, the f***ing wave was making it's way around rogers centre.

Has there ever been an interview where AA doesn't mention OPS? I cringe for the state of the franchise every time he does. I used to hope he used it just in interviews as a bridge between traditional and advanced statistics, but now I believe that it's honestly how he evaluates offensive production.

SAS is a statistical analysis software that anyone could purchase and use (I use it at school). It is probably the most used software in industry. I doubt the Leafs get any significant advantage from being their official partner though. But yeah, it's definitely not a bad thing, yet at the end of the day it's the personnel doing the studies and modelling that matter.
