  1. I guess minorleaguecentral only has data from the last 4 seasons, which makes sense given how they acquire their numbers. Edit: The game tracker at the top of this page has games on it. Baseball is back.
  2. You could use Minorleaguecentral.com's leaderboards: http://minorleaguecentral.com/leaderboard Lots of different tabs with different stats. Use the multileague selector to display 3 leagues at once. At the bottom of the page they link a way to pull the html table the data will be displayed in to a csv file with jquery: http://www.kunalbabre.com/projects/table2CSV.php I don't know how to use jquery but it's probably not hard to learn how to get that little script to work. It would still be relatively time consuming to pull 20 years worth of data from all the different minor leagues. Someone else probably knows of a better method. Though be sure to heed the disclaimer at the bottom of minorleaguecentral. They pull their data from the minor league play-by-play information, so some things like batted ball rates are estimated and other stats might not be perfectly accurate.
  3. You're probably colourblind.
  4. Nice try!
  5. I got a 62 on the colour matching thing. I took 8 minutes or so to do it.
  6. I know the color of that dress is really black and blue, but I just can't see anything other than white and gold in that picture. If it matters, I am mildly colourblind, with deuteranomaly. There are lots of tests online: http://www.color-blindness.com/ishihara-38-plates-cvd-test/#prettyPhoto
  7. (tweet)numbers at the end of the tweet(/tweet) And change the parentheses "()" to brackets "[]"
  8. Ew. And it's not going to happen.
  9. More debaucherous options pls. I'm thinking something more along the lines of Ang's relationship with some of his goats.
  10. http://www.today.com/video/today/57003520#57003520 More Daniel-Norris-in-a-van content. But this one is notable for the insistence on calling him "Dino".
  11. Dickey Stroman Buehrle Hutch Estrada/Sanchez/Norris Give Stroman the Dickey effect.
  12. The top 50 will be unveiled tonight at 9 on the mlb network. Then the full list goes up on BA.
  13. ScientificReason is obviously RealAccountant and a well known troll from the past. Probably talks to himself under other accounts here too. Pretty sure SpankBank is him. He's just flat-out trolling. Can we at least get rid of these accounts and have some sort of respite while he breaks in a new account?
  14. BTW there's tons more Blue Jays quizzes on Sporcle if anyone is interested. Searching "blue jays" turned up over 150 results: http://www.sporcle.com/search/?p=1&s=blue+jays&pub=0&sb=0 Though some of those quizzes are still unverified from the website and might be outdated.
  15. http://www.bluebirdbanter.com/2015/2/12/8024043/thursday-morning-sporcle-top-10-blue-jays-prospects-for-2010 This quiz is fun in a sad sort of way. It also made me think of the interesting 1-for-1 trade chain that goes Michael Taylor -> Brett Wallce -> Anthony Gose -> Devon Travis. Assuming Devon does turn out to be better than Gose and continues the trend of each player being better than the last, a trade for Trout should occur in a few years with this compounding effect!
  16. In response to BBBB's suggestion of Prime Ministers I assume. (He's too entertaining to put on ignore)
  17. I had forgotten about Valencia to be honest. He has a career wRC+ about 30 points better than Navarro. Even if these splits are not regressed, Valencia is pretty clearly better. And he's also much better defensively than Edwin, of course - UZR, in a very insignificant sample, thought he was a god at 1B. There really doesn't seem to be a useful role for Navarro outside of backup catcher
  18. Can the RealAccountant account be banned already? At least when he makes a new account we at least get the week or two when he tones back the trolling slightly, trying to pretend to be a new user.
  19. Yeah, thinking about it, I agree with you. Between their career splits, Smoak and Navarro favour righties and lefties respectively. I think Navarro should be DHing against every lefty. I didn't realize Navarro's splits were so extreme. Career 78 wRC+ vs righties, 107 vs lefties.
  20. If your DH moves into the field the pitcher has to hit. Navarro isn't going to be DHing unless Thole is on the team.
  21. Comatose pick: Adonys Cardona #GodOfBeauty
  22. Happy birthday, Spanky! (the homepage of this site told me) I recommend letting loose for once and getting hammered.
  23. First page.
  24. That's a weird follow through on his swing, where he wraps the bat behind his head. I'm no scout so I'm not saying it's a bad thing, just interesting.
  25. Who is in this picture? I don't recognize a single person.
