    BTW there's tons more Blue Jays quizzes on Sporcle if anyone is interested. Searching "blue jays" turned up over 150 results: http://www.sporcle.com/search/?p=1&s=blue+jays&pub=0&sb=0 Though some of those quizzes are still unverified from the website and might be outdated.

It also made me think of the interesting 1-for-1 trade chain that goes Michael Taylor -> Brett Wallce -> Anthony Gose -> Devon Travis. Assuming Devon does turn out to be better than Gose and continues the trend of each player being better than the last, a trade for Trout should occur in a few years with this compounding effect!

    I had forgotten about Valencia to be honest. He has a career wRC+ about 30 points better than Navarro. Even if these splits are not regressed, Valencia is pretty clearly better. And he's also much better defensively than Edwin, of course - UZR, in a very insignificant sample, thought he was a god at 1B. There really doesn't seem to be a useful role for Navarro outside of backup catcher

    Yeah, thinking about it, I agree with you. Between their career splits, Smoak and Navarro favour righties and lefties respectively. I think Navarro should be DHing against every lefty. I didn't realize Navarro's splits were so extreme. Career 78 wRC+ vs righties, 107 vs lefties.

    Well I don't remember Exhibition but that's the main reason I said it was probably a bad idea. The Rogers Centre is pretty much in a near perfect place now, which does make the issue of a new stadium interesting, when it eventually is needed. Maybe big retrofits? That would be a more expensive and complicated option though.

    We hardly hear anything from Edwin in the media but he does seem to be very likeable. I liked the documentary Brunt did with him in the DR. Seems like a really humble guy.
