    Thing is, the players I've mentioned were at one time with the blue jays except reyes, 3 of them are now rays. The coaches.. was just an after thought

    It would help immensely if an above average SS became available, and AA picked him up and THEN moved reyes to 2nd.

    If they had Escobar at SS, Reyes at 2nd,K Johnson in LF, Molina and J Buck catching, and Snider on the bench ,and with the rays and jays swapping with each other their entire coaching staff at the start of this season?

    War like most stats look good on paper, but loses it's value evaluating players on the field. No one who watches baseball religiously will say KW is comparable to reyes.

    A post with lawrie as a possible reason for making the playoffs is humorous indeed. If the jays go to the playoffs with lawrie on team, would be in spite of lawrie.

    " doesn't play the game the right way" seems like a ******** dump. " Many here have complained that most jays hitters don't grind out at bats,have no pitch recognition and make up their mind to swing or not to swing before the next pitch is thrown. And that is not playing the game the right way, if the right way means playing to win and not to be the hero and bolster stats.

    Probably truth in what you say, if many touted pillar back when jays got him, we'd be reading multiple " I TOLD YOU SO " threads and posts.

    AA didn't sell the farm, he traded prospects that were nothing special, like the snider for lincoln swap was a reasonable trade, in spite those who unreasonably thought otherwise. Think for yourself..don't just copy/ paste another posters opinion..you're still young enough to pull out of the rut you are in... DO IT ....

    It's obviously cito's fault, he ruined snider beyond repair. Before the Cito spotting in pittsburg, snider was doing fine.
