  1. According to Gruby we have to win them all.
  2. We should be losing 0 sleep over dealing Rowdy. He's a 1 WAR 1b/DH (maybe 1.5 WAR). He wouldn't crack our current top 9. These guys a worth a dime a dozen.
  3. Is the book ever really out on any deal? Ones that come to mind over the past couple years. Robbie Ray trade Tapia + Prospect for Grichuk Taijuan Walker deal Adam Cimber deal Santiago Espinal
  4. Could see this easily happening. After putting up a 0 in the HR category in April. He seems to have adjusted well.
  5. Could’ve lost by way more had I cared enough to set lineups the whole week.
  6. Jays get Anthony Banda. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/savant-player/anthony-banda-607455?stats=statcast-r-pitching-mlb Some things to like there. Some gross things.
  7. Gabriel Moreno for Corbin Carroll. There’s our LH OFer. D-backs have plenty of OFers.
  8. Sounds like a biased radio station. He’s probably in the tier just under Soto, and the tier under Cole(when he signed his contract). But I do agree on the 500-600 mil contract part. 10 year deal at 500, is 25/yr for his hitting and 25/yr for his pitching. It’ll be a fun offseason, teams have never had to bid on a player like this before.
  9. Moreno is currently sitting in the 43% range for average exit velocity, and 56% for max exit velocity. So he's not totally swinging a limp noodle.
  10. Ya, 3. I wonder if he'll continue to keep coming back to the team on friendly deals similar to Spezza the past few years.
  11. For Sanchez I wouldn't say should have never been. He was 16th in WAR for pitchers in 2016, as a 23 year old, he was our only pitcher to win his start in the ALCS that year. Unfortunately it just never worked out for him. He was like Halladay in that he never had huge strikeout numbers, but he had the ability to shut the opposing team down.
  12. If you're the Jays do you call up Tiedemann, Frasso, and Zulueta in September to pitch in the pen? See how they perform, with the idea of potentially adding 1 or 2 of them for the playoffs to add a good arm to the pen.
  13. Needs to work on his stolen base efficiency. With 80 grade speed, and the ability to play CF, could see him as a bench OFer some day.
  14. Everyone's been on in the past 3 days. Maybe something that would increase trading? If you wanted to go full drastic we could implement player salaries.
  15. Can’t wait to bump this again when he starts pitching better. He’s got the stuff, which is evident by his K-rate. He just needs to bring his bb-rate back to his career line.
  16. I read it is marriage issues.
  17. Maybe Casas will be better than Altuve as soon as next year. Maybe he’ll be Brett Wallace.
  18. I haven't been checking, I might have been off by a week or something, but I'll call this a win. Currently he's -0.6 WAR
  19. Max exit velocity isn't everything. Ask Mookie Betts.
  20. They might like the idea of DHing guys like Vladdy and Springer before/after an off day. This would essentially give them a 2 day break, which would kind of compound the benefits. The goal is to have these guys fresh for October, you don't want them running on fumes. Sounds like some posters would have Vladdy play all 162 games at 1B.
  21. If you move Walker you have to change your team name. Can't see many people lining up for a pitching with a K/9 of 4 though.
  22. Finishing ahead of the Yankees and winning the division would set us up better for success though. We'd get the bye through the first round, and get to line up our top starters for the ALDS. Instead of having to worry about winning a best of 3 in the wild card round.
  23. Am I our league's Montoyo? My team is projected to be 3rd, but somehow I've managed it to 12th place. Edit: Orgfiller is actually doing worse. Projected 4th, actually 16th.
