  1. It’s good enough for 2nd place. Fairly certain I have this things wrapped up
  2. The top 20 players are pretty much the same.
  3. This draft is tonight? @ 9:00?
  4. Nathan Lukes for the last roster spot? Bats L, hit better than Bird this ST, and can actually play the OF/CF.
  5. Did it so they can say they tried to extend him and they couldn’t come to terms when they move him at the trade deadline this season.
  6. Does this make anyone else think about Harvey? https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/19646763/mets-matt-harvey-several-weeks-stress-injury-neil-walker-dl
  7. It hurt to move him in the LOD, but I think I picked the right time.
  8. I couldn't believe when they picked up his option. And then let Rodon walk.
  9. This is a team friendly extension. Manager contracts don't mean much for the team anyway, they can easily be fired. If the team is under achieving part way through this year, I think he'd still be on the hot seat or potentially fired. There are expectations this season.
  10. Maybe, their season starts sooner. I was just thinking he might get scouted better in Indy leagues in the states for the draft this year.
  11. Possibly in an Indy league whenever their season opens.
  12. You'd think some day they'd trade for a player, and that player would refuse to cut their hair or shave.
  13. Or anyone that's not the Rockies.
  14. His Max-EV last year was in the 70th percentile, so it's not like he can't hit it with atleast near average power. He just needs to have something other than a negative launch angle.
  15. I don't get why anyone would be upset over this move. Is it because Grichuk wears high socks? Because if so, don't fear, Tapia also rocks the high socks.
  16. Tapia has out fWAR'd Grichuk each of the past 2 seasons. We also got the DSL MVP. His 2.1 fWAR was 4 years ago. Over the past 3 years Dexter Fowler has put up more WAR than Grichuk.
  17. I've already convinced myself he's Jose Altuve. 5' 6"/156 vs 5' 6"/166. Pinto has a couple years to gain 10 lbs.
  18. He's very intriguing. Led the DSL in SB, 2nd in OPS, 1st(by a lot) in BB/K.
  19. About 7 million. Maybe the deal was secretly all about Pinto. Sneaky Shatkins
  20. I'd like Conforto in theory, but not sure it makes sense. He would want a starting job, which means Kirk would end up on the bench more often than not since we would be rotating one of our 4 OFers through the DH slot every game. He might also still be wanting more than the QO offer on a 1 year deal. I'm not convinced he's worth paying $20M + Draft Pick for. He had a down year last year and his 2020 year was propped up with a .412 babip. And it seems no one wants to commit to him long term after his 2021. He really should have taken the QO.
  21. Have we finally got our guy? 7 years, 3 months, 28 days ago - https://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/threads/4163-Jays-discussing-Dexter-Fowler-trade?highlight=Dexter+Fowler
  22. The Bluejays are going to stick with him and help him get cleared. In return he'll sign a lifetime contact to be our pitching coach.
  23. I'd be testing him out a little bit in CF, see if he can play there. Some reports have him as an elite defender.
