No, they'll be fine. When you have owners that are willing to spend $250M it's hard to have a bad team. Angels is the only team I know that can do it, they're spending $64M this year on Justin Upton and Rendon.

That's why he's the guy you bring in for a clean 8th inning. Trevor Richards is the guy you bring in if you need a strikeout, assuming he's righted his ship; he's been good since returning from injury.

I still like Groshans. But after looking into it more Bass seems like a perfect setup guy. And Pop could be legit and a weapon if used right, he seems like a groundball machine.

With Hosmer's last 3 years being covered he's probably more like a $0 instead of a -35.2

If I was Hosmer I wouldn't want to go to Washington. From a contender in Cali to a basement dweller. Wonder if he could negotiate to get his outright release. He'd get his money and then be free to sign with any team he wants for the league min.

Happ + Contreras + Givens or Robertson for Jansen Sandy Alcantara + Huascar Brazoban for Moreno Make those two trades and call it a day.

Pablo López's name keeps being mentioned around. He'd be an interesting target. Still has 2.5 years of control, and would be an excellent #4 starter. He would gives us protection if one of our big 3 were to get injured before the playoffs.
