  1. No, they'll be fine. When you have owners that are willing to spend $250M it's hard to have a bad team. Angels is the only team I know that can do it, they're spending $64M this year on Justin Upton and Rendon.
  2. That's why he's the guy you bring in for a clean 8th inning. Trevor Richards is the guy you bring in if you need a strikeout, assuming he's righted his ship; he's been good since returning from injury.
  3. https://www.pitcherlist.com/introducing-the-next-star-relief-pitchers/
  4. Maybe he's tipping the pitch sometimes?
  5. I still like Groshans. But after looking into it more Bass seems like a perfect setup guy. And Pop could be legit and a weapon if used right, he seems like a groundball machine.
  6. Bass has actually been a top 10 RP this year.
  7. I think they were also hoping to not exceed by $40M. If they're 40M over their top draft pick gets pushed back 10 spots.
  8. With Hosmer's last 3 years being covered he's probably more like a $0 instead of a -35.2
  9. If I was Hosmer I wouldn't want to go to Washington. From a contender in Cali to a basement dweller. Wonder if he could negotiate to get his outright release. He'd get his money and then be free to sign with any team he wants for the league min.
  10. Happ + Contreras + Givens or Robertson for Jansen Sandy Alcantara + Huascar Brazoban for Moreno Make those two trades and call it a day.
  11. Huascar Brazoban would be an interesting throw in reliever.
  12. Pablo López's name keeps being mentioned around. He'd be an interesting target. Still has 2.5 years of control, and would be an excellent #4 starter. He would gives us protection if one of our big 3 were to get injured before the playoffs.
  13. Looking in the LOD confirmed my suspicion, you own him in the league.
  14. I didn’t know this was 2019, and Mancini was still in his prime. I didn’t say he’s a bad hitter. He’s just not that valuable of an asset.
  15. The O’s are potentially gonna be dangerous next year.
  16. https://www.baseballtradevalues.com/trade-simulator/ Mancini is $1.9M Johnson is $8.9M Take the L and move on.
  17. Are you looking at the correct Seth Johnson?
  18. Mancini is good for what, maybe 1 WAR at most for rest of season?
  19. Seth Johnson seems like a decent pitching prospect to get. Mancini isn’t much of a guy.
  20. Severino out to atleast mid-September. No wonder the Yankees had to pick up Montas.
  21. So some lists has the Bluejays higher and some have the Yankees higher. Which makes my “similar value” comment accurate.
  22. Fangraphs Board Tiedman - 100+ Martinez - 88 Waldichuk - 36 Medina - 60 Try to be less biased towards your own players.
  23. Similar value from use would be like Tiedman, O Martinez, and another top 10 guy.
  24. Vladdy has +7 defensive runs saved in 2022, lets put him in CF.
