  1. I wonder if he's still effected from his oblique injury.
  2. Blue Jays Name Position MTV ($Ms) Fulmer RHRP 2.4 Jimenez RHRP 0.7 Skubal SP 48.5 Total Value: 51.60 Tigers Name Position MTV ($Ms) Groshans 3B 14 Jansen C 25.8 Jimenez SS 4.6 Lopez SS 6 Total Value: 50.40
  3. What would Skubal cost? Skubal + Relief help. Moreno might be too much. But maybe a combo of other top 10 guys?
  4. If we don't sign a pick, we don't get the slot value to use elsewhere. We'd only have whatever was leftover from our punted picks.
  5. Conforto would fit in well I think. He'd be a good DH for late Sept and Playoffs.
  6. Do you miss the DDL? Seems like you miss the DDL.
  7. I wonder if he'd take something close to the 15/$440M offer from one of them.
  8. It's most likely #1. Washington is looking at a lengthy rebuild. Their farm is below average, and their core is old. Throw in the fact the owners are looking to sell the team. It's not an ideal situation.
  9. If Tiedemann is ace-like in AA do the Jays bring him up in September to throw out of the bullpen? I think yes. AA will be the real test for him though. If he doesn't set the league on fire I'd let him finish the season there.
  10. I would think it would reduce your pool, assuming the player was drafted in the first 10 rounds. If they were taken in rounds 11-20 that selection wouldn't effect our bonus pool. The slot money for that pick in the first 10 rounds would be tied up until the player was signed. If the player doesn't end up signing we lose that slot value.

  12. I wonder if something like this would work? Draft like four 4th year top college relievers. They could be the "punt picks", would hopefully sign for cheap. With the idea of calling them up after a month in the minors. There must be a handful that have a decent FB + something combo.
  13. Draft both Rocker and Joyce. Throw both in the mlb pen off the bat. See if they’re willing to accept less with this as part of their signing deal.
  14. I'm alright with it in that situation. Do you burn Garcia or Romano in a losing effort? I personally wouldn't. I want them available for today where we might be up. And I think I'd also want them available for tomorrow with Castillo pitching, would be a good idea to plan for needing atleast 4 arms to follow him. So now, both of them will be able to throw an inning today and tomorrow.
  15. Tapia hitting 9th. Runners stealing bases. Seems things have changed already.
  16. If one of the OFers were to be moved, they could just as easily bring one in. Send Gurriel out for pitching. Trade a prospect for Benintendi.
  17. Not sure about every stop. But there was a lot of overlap.
  18. Bring on John Schneider! He's the correct choice. Already won championships managing the Vancouver Canadians (2011), Dunedin Blue Jays (2017) and NH Fishercats (2018).
  19. I'm torn on what to do. I'm hovering just about .500 but there's 4 teams in the way of me and a playoff spot. The projects show I should be 4th. Trying to decide between buying and selling.
  20. If I had known it was your birthday I would have accepted your Vladdy offer.
  21. Graver will be heading for surgery on Monday. I’ll be looking for a new catcher. Send me offers and I’ll decide when he gets his red flag.
  22. I think Ohtani bolts from the Angels. They haven't had a winning season since he's joined the team.
