  1. Was hoping he'd win a rotation job. Elder > Gentry It was tough finding a Gentry comparison on my team. Maybe Bubba Thompson would have been a better example? Tough picking my fringe roster guys. If prospect porn had an awards ceremony my team would be the attendees.
  2. You should probably take your own advice. Would you move L Robert for a package of Marcelo Mayer, 2nd Rounder, and Bryce Elder?
  3. It probably wasn't, CP won't give you fair value. Make sure to shop players around before moving them in this league.
  4. Ya, but he's pairing him with a 2nd round pick and a fringe dime dozen type prospect.
  5. Maybe. I feel right around now is one of the hottest for jersey sales. Other would be just before the playoffs.
  6. Did she look after he was announced as opening day starter? My guess is they’re sold out at the moment. Look again in a couple days. I don’t even see the custom option on the Jays site, must be over loaded with purchases at the moment. I see that option on the USA mlb site though.
  7. If anything starting Gausman over Manoah would have been more of a question mark. Years on the Jays: M=2 ; G=1 Cy Young finish: M=3rd (87 points) ; G=9th (1 Point) FWAR: M=4.1 ; G=5.7 BWAR: M=5.9 ; G=3.0 Wins, ERA, Innings all things the majority of fans look at all favour Manoah. Also helps form a bond with Manoah, might make him more likely to stay. If he sees himself as the #1 it might make it just slightly harder for him to leave. The Jays are grooming him.
  8. Gausman didn't pitch opening day last year either.
  9. Manoah did finish 3rd in Cy Young voting.
  10. No, the version that is going to hit 40+ HRs this year. He and Schwarber are gonna be battling for the NL HR title this year.
  11. Darick Hall is about to break out. So much so that the Phillies will let Hoskins walk this offseason.
  12. Looking for a 1B if anyone has one to move.
  13. Bold is predicting the Jays starting pitchers to have the highest combined WAR in the past 10 years. They'd have to top the 2013 Tigers (23.1 WAR).
  14. What really turned me off from it is one year when they made me authenticate through text or email during sign in numerous times a week.
  15. Add Vlad and Kirk to that list so they can be put on rations or a proper diet.
  16. I was digging with a backhoe.
  17. Talking about Nomar Mazara? He had a pretty swing.
  18. Hopefully it Lukes. I'd rather see Lopez in the minors to begin the year so he's getting starts every day. Get him the most reps possible before he becomes our next super utility guy.
  19. Ya, the Reds probably want to move him for a prospect, they'd have to eat some of his contract. But there would probably be some backlash from the fanbase. If Votto asks for a trade, the team gets to pass the blame onto him and they'll look like the good guys. Votto would also get to pick where he goes anyway since he has 10-5 rights.
  20. Brigden and Taylor again.
  21. I don't think going winless and only 3 runs scored last time helped with the recruiting. If they can make the 2nd round it would help for next tournament I think.
  22. Votto will play in 2027. He'll be missing baseball and come out of retirement for the tournament.
  23. Skip the bobble head. Give away toys and such to the first so many fans.
  24. Berrios leads the team in wins.
