    Eric Hinske had 4.8 WAR as a rookie. Which was tops for our batters that year. I always forget how good he was that year. He was just a huge disappointment after that.

    At the moment Steamer projections has us as the #2 offense. And the 2nd highest WAR total for batters.

    Things happen. Sometimes you set a dozen guys in your queue and they all get taken. Not everyone has time or desire to rank 100 guys in their queue. Autopick also just takes the top ranked player statwise for next year which is usually some guy that's not worth rostering, and is in no way considered a prospect.

    They’re stuck waiting the window either way..Windows also get halved each time a pick is missed.

    If I’m the Rockies I make that deal. Rodgers only has 3 years control left. And his last two year he put up 1.7 and 1.1 WAR. Cabrera has 6 years. Espinal has out WARd Rodgers each of the past 3 years. And has 1 more year of control. I’d move him for Cabrera.

    I'll go with yes. Steamer has KK and Varsho 6th and 7th in defensive value for OFers. We have 3 guys out there that are all capable of playing CF.

    I hope we trade in their final year the 2 we're planning to let go for prospects, so the casual fans freak right out.

    That might be ideal. Wonder if they’ll also work Barger in OF. Reports seem to say he’d be fine out there.

    Springer RF Vladdy 1B Bo SS Kirk DH Varsho LF Jansen C Chapman 3B Biggio/Espy/Barger/Merrifield 2B KK CF That’s a deadly looking lineup. All the OFers can play center. A lot of our guys can play multiple positions. Possibly the best defensive outfield in the league.

    That would be buying his two free agent years at 20M each. That’s next off season’s price.

    I think we could get him for 5/40. He’s projected for only 3.7M next year. His current career earnings is extremely low, and he didn’t get a bonus.

    It would be a ballsy more to extend him for 2-3 free agent years. But it would cover his prime and has potential to be fantastic value. If the team thinks he can be healthy. Danny might take it to guarantee life changing money. 5/40M can buy a lot of glasses.
