    If you look at his fangraphs page and ignore his era it actually looks good. 1.86 FIP; 11.12 K/9; 3.18 BB/9; 0.2 WAR (6.4 WAR pace)

    I think Bassit needs to let Jansen call the pitches. Maybe give him one more start to see if he's improved, if he's still distracted, Walker needs to step in and tell him how it's gonna be.

    I feel bad for Trout. His team can't make the playoffs with the most valuable player what are they gonna be like when he leaves. Trout has to request a trade at some point right? Having his post season career limited to 3 game would be a shame.

    I feel like a LHRP is an ideal spot to fill at the deadline. Relievers are so volatile, better to pay up at the deadline for one that looks good. Especially a lefty specialist.

    Looking at total trades, I think we'll be fine. DDL actually has more trades than BORED this offseason and last season. So it seems we're still going strong into our 11th season. I think it just seems like there's less movement because we're reminiscing the old days when there were 5 way trades. And maybe comparing it to the LOD where fringe roster pieces are actually worth trading for.

    Maybe just let this one play out, and start another points league. Keeper with salaries. Auction draft. Points league is slightly less work than a head to head right?

    I've been kind of guilty the past couple years of just coasting. I've built a self sustaining team. 7 straight playoff appearances. 8th this year.

    I think it’s a lot of what NJH said. People becoming too attached to their players. We could expand by 2 teams and only be able to protect a handful of players. Or we could assign increasing salaries to players, and have a cap. Or wait it out and it’ll fix itself.

    Actually I think Arozarena > Robert. You should probably try to pawn him off on someone before his value falls off a cliff. Turning 26, never more then 13 HRs, 4% BB-rate. Looking like he's one of those tool guys that never materialized. His comparable right now is Ke'Bryan Hayes.

    Robert = Arozarena. Only spot he's top 20 is in your head. That package for Springer is getting closer to fair. But the 2nd/3rd pieces should be better.
