  1. Why would we want Rowdy and his negative WAR?
  2. He looked a little slimmer in the most recent pictures and videos. That's an encouraging sign.
  3. I wonder if the Red Sox ever rebuild if they’ll keep the green giant
  4. But does he have enough time accrued that he’d have to consent to being sent down. I think he’s just over the threshold Either way, I prefer Cimber for the bullpen. He provides a different look for hitters. Bass is vanilla And Ernie C is rocking a .900 ops this year.
  5. We won’t know if it’s a mistake for another 5-ish years.
  6. Curious, what RP would you release instead?
  7. https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/1654571-will-chris-sales-mechanics-spell-big-trouble-for-him-down-the-road.amp.html
  8. Because now is when they’re forced to call White up. Players can only be on rehab assignment for so long. His time was up. This wasn’t just a randomly chosen time.
  9. Some people don't believe in reason though. White > Bass. He has a higher ceiling and is more controllable. He's had bouts of above average pitching. 2 month span last year as a starter for the Dodgers he put up a 3.05 ERA. You don't really want to throw that away to keep a 35 yr old below average RP in the back of your pen.
  10. They’re both bad. White has more control and the potential to start. Bass is a 35 year on RP at the bottom of the pecking order. This is smart asset management.
  11. Was White at the end of his allowable rehab time? If so, this makes sense. No other RPs to send down so Bass is the logical choice.
  12. Well he could either take the advice and do something about it or hang out in the minors. Unfortunately it seems like he feels his weight might not be the issue, it looks like he's blaming it on his midset.
  13. I don't think WAR was publicly available back then. You're comparing apples to sand castles.
  14. Whoever redid the waiver order f***ed it up. Silverboot had used his earlier this month.
  15. Kirk is a base to base type of guy.
  16. I’m kinda hoping ASS and AA go before JG34, just so it shows how idiotic it was to redo the waivers. (Sorry JG34)
  17. I’m expecting to get none of my choices, which is more unfair then what happened the first time. We’re being punished because Spanky couldn’t see something that was right on his screen. Should have been left as is.
  18. Grichuk is now no longer a HR threat. He's an OBP machine. Rocking a .393 OBP.
  19. How is this fair? Gives everyone an idea on how the waivers played out. I'm gonna be pissed if I don't end up with one of the 3 starters. I would have had Woo if I didn't have ASS. Also, can I get Zulueta added back to my team then? I only dropped him so I'd have space on my roster for my claims I had submitted.
  20. He had to have known it was coming.
  21. Justin Verlander came back at 39 and won the CY Young upon his return. I wouldn’t bet against DeGrom to be atleast a very good pitcher again.
  22. Pretty sure Frasso is injured again. He’ll never be a starter.
  23. Send him back to A-ball. And put him on the fast track back up. Worked for Halladay.
  24. Looks like Manoah is calling it a day and heading for the buffet.
  25. I’d even try Kloffenstein right from AA
