I think it does. If McGowan does at least give the Jays 5 innings in his next start, he's out of the rotation. You can't have a starter averaging less than 5 per start and expect to contend in this division, let alone league. By the way, just curious is that a picture of you in your avatar? -

Completely agreed. And the same could be said about Brandon Morrow as well. His rotation spot should be in jeopardy and the Jays can't keep running him out there thinking he's going to cash in on all that potential. Thing is, other than Stroman its not like the Jays have any better options. -

In a perfect world, he should have just been used as a reliever (had success last season out of the pen). If the Jays managed to sign Santana, McGowan likely would have been in the pen. I was excited to see him succeed as a starter again, though clearly I think his time is running short in the rotation. His next start likely will be his last one, unless he shows he can go out there and give them a quality outing. I wouldn't be surprised to see Stroman making his MLB debut next weekend, especially if McGowan can't get through 5 innings. -

My player evaluations and asking prices are quite fair. I'm not going to trade MLB guys like Ian Kennedy or Victorino for prospects or players that will hardly have an impact for my team. I've made several deals in this league - acquiring guys like Mike Minor, Tony Cingrini, Jayson Werth, Shane Victorino, Freddie Freeman, V-Mart, Ian Kennedy, and Mike Moustakas and others. I'm not going to sell assets for less than what they are worth. Most of the time, I find teams say they aren't a match. Like for example with you and David Robertson. And Spanky saying he needs pitching so he wouldn't trade me Tim Hudson.

My asking price on Soriano has been either a high second rounder or a similar valued veteran starting pitcher (eg. like Tim Hudson or AJ Burnett). Not asking the world for him

Out of all the live sporting events I've been to, this game has to rank No. 1 on that list. Crazy atmosphere and what a game from start to finish. Lost my voice and that's never happened to me after a game before.
