  1. 2010: John Buck/Jose Molina 2011: JPA/Jose Molina 2012: JPA/Jeff Mathis 2013: JPA/Josh Thole 2014: Navarro/Thole/Kratz All catching tandems during the big fat Greek's tenure.
  2. Get rid of him ASAP. How can you bring him in a 6-1 game at Fenway! Just crazy!
  3. You can get excellent seats on StubHub for either the same price or a lot cheaper. I buy all my Jays tickets off Stubhub, never from the box office anymore.
  4. Yeah mainly against RHP. I've always been a Seth Smith fan though I doubt he keeps up this pace. He's a very good platoon bat and can be useful in deep leagues like this one. He likely finishes with 15 HR's when all is said and done. I had him on my roster last season in this league - never panned out.
  5. My offence last week was solid and ended up losing almost every category. Also, when you get home runs from Tex on your bench, that makes it even more frustrating!
  6. You're likely get a W from Felix today. Pitching hasn't been that bad, though your staff got off to a crazy start this week.
  7. I can't seem to get my team over the hump. I have the worst luck in the opponents I face every week.
  8. After yesterday's performance, I doubt he gets bumped from the rotation.
  9. Liam Hendricks is from Perth, Western Australia! His minor league numbers have been solid, but I prefer Stroman given a chance first. The Jays have heavily mishandled Stroman up at the big league level. If they are just using him for mop up duty, then send him back down so he could start every 5th day.
  10. lol this thread was funny. I agree, I love Kratz as well and he brings a lot to the table. Though there is no need to extend him while he's under club control for the next 5 years. Makes zero sense.
  11. Definitely offer him the QO, no questions asked. If nobody signs him, I'd be more than happy with him on a 1 year deal worth $13-$14 million.
  12. It would be interesting to put together a list of previous trades and evaluate them like a year or two later.
  13. Possibly. If he doesn't put up the numbers offensively, he could be undervalued.
  14. Thing is Rasmus becomes a FA next offseason. Likely wouldn't get a young pitcher with years of control - it would be tough. The only way is if that team can sign Rasmus long term. Secondly Rasmus needs to come off the DL and continue hitting like he did before he got injured. I think in the offseason a Homer Bailey/Rasmus swap could have been realistic (before Bailey signed his long term extension). Doubt the Cubs have interest since he doesn't fit into their long term plans. The Braves could use Rasmus, and I could see him signing an extension with them down in Georgia. Alex Wood would be sweet, though I doubt that would ever happen in a million dreams especially with them losing Medlen and Beachy this spring.
  15. 16. Speaking of injuries, they are happening again. Beltran on the DL and Victorino going for an MRI ugh. Not looking good.
  17. Yeah Ken. No doubt when Morrow is healthy and everything is going right, he's a great pitcher and much better than MB. We saw what Morrow was capable of in 2010, 2011, and 2012. It's unfortunate that he hasn't been able to stay healthy and be durable throughout his career. I've always been a big Brandon Morrow fan - even bought his jersey back in 2010 haha seriously. Thing is the past two seasons, he hasn't stayed healthy and has been inconsistent on the mound. The results haven't been there and it seems like the Jays are always banking on his potential every ST to pitch like a No. 2 starter, which as we saw is a huge mistake. You can't rely on Morrow to pitch like a front of the rotation guy since he never can stay healthy.
  18. Stuff wise, yes Janssen will never have as good of stuff as Santos does. Though in terms of results, there is no debate.
  19. It's still early, but he's been a great story. I have him in my 30 team salary dynasty league I'm in. Lets see if he can handle the full workload of a starter (180-200 IP). It'll be interesting to see how he fares once he reaches the 100-120 inning mark.
  20. Could have told me this before I traded V-Mart to Spanky ugh!
  21. He's been racking up the strikeouts. I've always been a fan of McCarthy. If he stays healthy, he'll put together a strong season. Could be a decent trade target at the deadline perhaps.
  22. Phil Hughes rocked today, but the BP blew it for him ugh!
  23. Yeah, all the walks and wild pitches weren't his fault, just bad luck.
