  1. Make sure you drink good beer this weekend!
  2. Leaves me without a starting second baseman this season, though I'm more retooling for 2015. Hopefully Profar is ready for next season to step in as my starter at second base. BTS gets a good bat at second base who'll provide above average production from that position. Ross' advanced stats were really good. His xFIP and SIERA weren't that much higher than his ERA and his SwStr% is third best in all of baseball. Hopefully he holds up as a starter, and pitching in San Diego is icing on the cake.
  3. Not a greasy move. You splurged that you traded Sanchez for Kendrick on the board when nothing was ever mutually agreed upon. Also, all I was asking to be included was a reliever with huge control problems or a player just demoted to the minors and you freaked out when I asked for that on top of Sanchez. Don't want to start an argument with you, as I hope we can continue our relationship and still travel together and sample great tasting beers.
  4. According to Ken Rosenthal, all that is holding up a potential deal is RP Daniel Webb or 2B Nick Franklin. The THB asked for Aaron Sanchez originally as the main piece, though nothing was confirmed officially by the team. Also, the fact that the deal got leaked into the media when the trade was not finalized did not sit in favour with SS. "We like to do things in secret since stories like these can get out there in the media and then prevent a deal from happening," said SS, the general manager of THB. "I think we were close in getting something done, though it got leaked on the boards and on Twitter before things were ever finalized." The THB have suffered numerous injuries to key players over the last week which has led to a fall in the standings, prompting the team to retool for 2015. Players such as Howie Kendrick, Kyle Lohse, Mike Napoli, Carlos Beltran, Mark Teixeira and others are likely candidates to be moved prior to the trade deadline. The team has garnered numerous interest in star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, though according to sources a team has to "overpay" in order to land the star shortstop. "They likely keep Tulo. I don't see them moving him since they view him as part of their main core with Freddie Freeman, Nolan Arenado and Will Myers," according to one baseball executive.
  5. Not really, don't know why Spanky splurged on the boards that a deal was finalized.
  6. Howie Kendrick is still in a THB uniform. Howie is disappointed that his name is out there right now. I can confirm, he is part of the Triple Hawpe Brewed organization. He's a big part to our beer lineup.
  7. Probably asked for Tulo or something else I'm assuming
  8. Spanky has drank too many Buds, he's crazy. We haven't discussed anything regarding Howie Kendrick.
  9. Everything is awesome my friend Danny Duffy xFIP 4.88 this season and 4.65 xFIP career Nick Tepesch 4.04 xFIP this season; 3.82 xFIP last season and career 3.86 xFIP
  10. Howie Kendrick OTB. Send me a wise offer.
  11. Meh, Duffy hasn't been anything special as a starter and its not like he's that young. As for Phil Hughes and Kyle Lohse, I think my asking price is more than fair.
  12. Danny Duffy just got a early second round pick, and his numbers are quite mediocre.
  13. Nick Tepesch is available for a 2nd round pick if anyone is looking for young starting pitching that could help their MLB roster.
  14. Where do we make our prospect cuts? And we have a 12-man farm correct? I get all the leagues I'm in mixed up haha just want to make sure.
  15. I think you have to keep Stroman. There is no point in trading him for a expensive 1.5 year rental like Shark. Also, I don't think you can trade Juan Francisco. See if he could continue hitting the way he has and maybe you got something on your hands. Another solid LHB who can crush RHP. Rasmus I think you can move - just bad timing since he's a FA so you're unlikely to get much unless you take on another expiring contract or the equivalent of the comp pick.
  16. I'm hoping Grant Green gets more playing time with the Angels - he's been solid. Love the fact that he holds eligibility at 2B and OF.
  17. Post-hype player. He's been alright - not getting any HR's, RBI's or SB's however. His slash line of .303/.333/.449 is decent, though he needs to steal more bases to be valuable. Also, the guy is probably the most fragile player I've ever seen. Seems like he gets injured almost all the time.
