  1. I do as well, though I've done it enough times at the Rogers Centre, which is one of the ugliest parks in baseball, especially when the roof is closed. When I visit ballparks down in the U.S. like Yankees Stadium, Wrigley, Fenway or any other ones for the first time, I love going like an hour and a half in advance and just take it all in. Even walking around the ballparks, checking out different sections, trying out different food. Rogers Centre is just boring and dull. I'll still go and watch Jays games, though I'm not dying to go like 2 hours early before first pitch and "take it all in" when its not an authentic baseball experience to begin with.
  2. I've done all that when I was younger. Unless its a certain players autograph I want or if I'm visiting a new ballpark, I have no desire to sit around 2 hours inside a closed roof Rogers Centre.
  3. I'd go down early to get a bobblehead or jersey, though I hate the NO in/out privileges at the Rogers Centre. You have to wait in the ballpark like 2 hours before first pitch. Plus, you're forced to eat lunch and buy drinks at the Rogers Centre by entering at 11 AM. At least at the ACC, you could scan your ticket leaving and come back like an hour later. I did that for the Raptors bobblehead giveaways on Friday nights. Arrived downtown around 5:30, got my bobblehead, scanned out and went to grab some drinks and a bite to eat before the game.
  4. David Ortiz started to become a stud in 2003, so at the age of 27-28. Bautista at the age of 29. Only chance Bautista gets any serious consideration if he plays at an elite level until his 40's and wins a World Series or two with the Blue Jays.
  5. Game 13 Miller vs (RHP) Travis (2pts) - Jonn Donaldson (1pt) -bronson44, Condor13 Joey Bats (1pt) - o2cui2i,baseballsss, CanadiansportsJunkie, jaysblue E Rex (1pt) - Pillar (5pts) - nowayjose, Trouba95 Martin (3pts) - Orgfiller, Dylan, vdub Smoak (2pts) - Atothe, Frenchsoup, Deadpool, BBBB Pompey (4pts) - Stangstag, Bluejays0988, GD, Angrioter Goins (7pts) - Bench (8pts) -
  6. Didn't Miller shut down the Jays last June when the Cards came to town?
  7. I don't see Jose Bautista or Cliff Lee getting any serious consideration for the HofF. Bautista is 34, though he'd have to stay healthy over the next 5-6 seasons and continue to play at an elite level until he's 40. Also, probably need to throw in a World Series or two.
  8. Boxy is dumb and can't read.
  9. I haven't been all that satisfied with the LOD so far. Just tough getting into. Also, it doesn't help that the Fantrax site layout is awful. Its annoying to use and I'm not a huge fan of the league settings/format. Just haven't had as much fun with this league as I anticipated. It is still early however, so I'll give it a chance. Though I'm more attached to my teams in the FC and DDL, more than the LOD thus far.

I agree. I'd rather go through the Wiz and face Atlanta in Round 2 instead of through the Bucks and then play Cleveland.

If the Raps take Game 1, I'm sure all those fans on this board will hop back on the bandwagon. And we'll be hearing from ECJF every second on how the Raptors can beat the Wizards...
  12. If anyone is looking for a pair of tickets for the Home Opener tomorrow, send me a PM. Have a pair in the lower level (Section 128, row 25).

  16. I wasn't getting any respect with that Jeremy Accordo avatar.
  17. Sloppy baseball by the Dodgers so far. It's only two innings though!
  18. You're giving me a good laugh tonight! I'm so happy that you dedicated three separate posts just for mocking me!

  20. Yeah and knowing the luck the O's have had with some sluggers in the past like Chris Davis, Luke Scott and others, I wouldn't be shocked to see Steve Pearce be a late breakout star. If he's still hitting this way come July, then I'll buy in. His walk rates were solid and he always has had raw power.
  21. So many players mashed for over 100 games before. I don't account spring training stats for anything. I think its possible that he turns out being for real (the type of bat like you said). Though I've never been someone who has bought into a 30 something year old after hitting great for around 100 games. I'd like to see Pearce do it again over a full season before I make up my mind on him. I'm just not fapping over him after 102 games last season and two games into this season. Edit: Also, as a Jays fan, I hope the O's don't get lucky with him, especially after the Jays could have had him last April lol.
  22. I never knew 104 games was the benchmark to determine that a player is for real.
  23. Only 2 games in...
