  1. I'd probably rank Lucroy ahead of Vogt based on age and previous production. Also, I'd probably throw a healthy Devin Mesoraco in the Top 5 over vets like McCann and Martin. He's still only 27 and last season posted a 147 wRC+ (obviously needs to be healthy though). Kyle Schwarber is an interesting name as well who I'd likely take over some vets since this is dynasty.
  2. Last time I checked, theres a difference between pitching in the MLB vs. AAA.
  3. Yeah for the type of hitter he is, he doesn't strikeout that much anymore like he did earlier in his career. His BB% has always been downright awful though. I'm sure he'll latch on with a team like the Phillies or Marlins. The Orioles also like taking fliers on guys with huge power potential.
  4. Fiers actually can strike people out with his crafty stuff.
  5. Wouldn't shock me. A corner OF/1B who will be 30 next season and struggles to keep an OBP above .300 and whose breaking down physically. Likely will catch a couple of minor league deals over the next couple of years though I predict an early retirement like you said.
  6. He was a flawed player to begin with like North said. Career .296 OBP is awful.

  8. You should purchase a Marco Estrada jersey!
  9. Weren't people saying this about Carlos Villanueva a couple years back?
  10. I didn't know it was the Dogg. I hardly post/read much of the main forum board.
  11. I miss Scott Downs. The guy was a rock solid late inning reliever those years with the Jays. The one thing I loved about JPR was his ability to construct an inexpensive solid bullpen.

  13. Team MVP: Nolan Arenado -- has been a monster this season with 24 HR and 70 RBI, slugging close to .600! That one week when he hit 8 HR's was insane! Team LVP: Mike Napoli -- has been a disaster. My patience is running thin. Team Ace: Zack Greinke -- leads the Majors with a 1.39 ERA and currently is working on a scoreless streak of 35.2 innings. Can't ask anything more from an ace. Team RA Dickey: Chris Tillman -- he has s*** the bed. Breakout Prospect: Robbie Ray -- will be earning a promotion soon to my MLB roster. He's been a solid SP in Arizona so far which is encouraging. Dud Prospect: Matt Davidson -- why do I still own him?
  14. Mike Napoli can be made available for a similar struggling vet SP or a draft pick if anyone wants to role the dice on a power/OBP guy.
  15. I guess I'm OTC now. I'll take Igor Shestyorkin with my last pick.
  16. Also, willing to trade my remaining picks for waiver draft upgrades and roster upgrades.

And that's why Sacramento is an awful ran organization. Just ludicrous that they offered Matthews that. I'm sure they were bidding against themselves.
  18. Haha going to any other ballparks when in California?
  19. Doubt he would have joined them if he was healthy all this time.
  20. I'll be in Anaheim when the Jays are in town as well. Likely hitting up the Saturday night game. Seeing the Padres/Cards on the Friday night.
