  1. Are you f***ing kidding me?
  2. He posted 2.3 WAR in 62 games last season...
  3. I wonder which GDT Todd will post in tonight...
  4. Kk thanks, that would be awesome!
  5. I wanted the Jays to go after Morneau in the offseason. There was nothing to lose and he wasn't going to break the bank.
  6. I hate dealing with people on Kijijji. Worst place to sell tickets. It's been alright sometimes selling tickets (depending on who the person is) though I'd say majority on there expects to get them for nothing. Then you have people listing their bobbleheads at the games for $80-$100. Like give me a break.
  7. And I'd take the Jays 1-6 hitters over the Rays.
  8. Is anyone going to the game on Sunday? I have two of the Delgado/Wells/Bautista bobblehead trio they gave out on May 29th, and I'd like to trade one of them for the pitching trio of Stieb, Hentgen and Halladay.
  9. Good thing the Jays brought in Melvin Upton Jr. as depth.
  10. As well, could have made the case for Longoria if he played in 150-160 games that season, especially with Tampa making the postseason for the first time. In 122 games, he posted a 5.6 WAR.
  11. Youkilis and Sizemore were pretty good in 08. Not Trout or JD level obviously.
  12. Dustin Pedroia won the AL MVP back in 2008, and Jose Altuve is by far having a better season this year.
  13. It's appalling that the best hitter of all time isn't even in the HOF.
  14. I'm not a greed driven douchebag. I'm just using common sense and rational thinking. I'd like to see you walk away from lets say $2000 from any job/contract (which is pocket change when we're talking about $21 million). I'm sure you wouldn't even think twice about walking away.
  15. Wouldn't count out Ortiz. We know how the voters will react to it being his last season and stuff, I'm sure he'll get a good chunk of votes. Though I think it's between Donaldson, and Altuve. If the Astros don't make the postseason, that will be taken into consideration. Trout should be in the conversation as well, though only with 21 HR's and playing on a losing team, the voters won't give him much acknowledgement.
  16. Yankees really aren't playing for anything this season, and it's not like A-Rod was taking AB's away from anyone. Start him 2-3 times a week at DH, and see if he reaches that 700 HR Milestone. Yankees could have made money from him chasing that milestone, in terms of ticket sales, merchandise etc.
  17. I thought Miami would have taken a chance on him as a pinch hitter, backup 1B since he's from that area, and would be close to that milestone of 700 home runs. Seemed like a good fit.
  18. Even if you are worth $325 million +, you wouldn't be stupid enough to throw out $21 million. Doesn't matter how rich you are. You are the one who seems stupid.
  19. Spanky wants proof that Matt is real.
  20. I agree Todd. A 6 Man rotation means less of Dickey.
  21. In honour of Spanky. Lets Go Blue Jays CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP cf
  22. Free spanky!!!!
