  1. I never get out that far. I hate driving the 401 which is a mess at all times of the day. Furthest east I get to is around the Danfourth since its along the subway line at least. Would love to see more of the east end like the Bluffs etc. though driving in this city can be a pain haha.
  2. It's been a weird market for hitters thus far. JD Martinez didn't go for much and he was probably the best power bat available (not named Stanton).
  3. Going to the zoo, having a couple of beers & talking baseball with Jay sounds like a perfect afternoon haha. If I do go one day this summer, I'll let you know.
  4. Haven't been to the Toronto Zoo since I was a kid, so probably about due for a visit. Problem is its so freakin out in the middle of nowhere.
  5. Isn't Duda a FA after this season?
  6. Jays basically owned Sparkman as long as they kept him on the MLB roster all season. In essence that would be like giving up Liriano for nothing, only in order to keep Sparkman in AAA. Wouldn't be a fan of this.
  7. He's a lefty that has electric stuff when he's on. I'm sure many contending teams would roll the dice on him as a No. 5 starter or long man out of the BP especially when the cost wouldn't be that much.
  8. Ticket prices are still relatively reasonable for Sunday on StubHub for decent seats.
  9. High price for Jennings, wow.
  10. Because he's an idiot for showing up the other team like that in a blowout. And it's not like its a one time thing - Grilli seems to do that after every inning he pitches regardless of the score. So when Stanton hits a HR like that off him in a blowout, I don't have a problem with him pumping his fists and mocking Grilli because he deserves it.
  11. You can only ride the bat of Jose Reyes for so long until he gets a fluky injury and starts to suck again.
  12. I might be interested. Send me a PM.
  13. In this league, the low .OBP hurts though with the way he has been hitting, you can live with the .300 OBP from 2B/SS especially in a 20-team dynasty league. He's only 23 as well, so you would hope he can improve his BB% as he matures. I've enjoyed riding his bat in the LOD so far. Drafted him during one of the amateur drafts in the later rounds. Can never go wrong with drafting a Cardinals prospect like BTS has always said.
  14. I had the 11th priority. Close but no cigar. Shocked that the other 8 teams before BTS didn't put in a claim. Though like Dinger said, probably not many people check the wire often.
  15. Damn you BTS, which waiver priority did you have? Also, who the hell dropped Paul DeJong to begin with? Shocked me completely. He does have a very low OBP this season but the guy has smacked 14 HR's in only 183 AB's and has 2B/3B/SS eligibility and is only 23.
  16. I don't own any Tigers relievers in any fantasy leagues, so that is a big sigh of relief haha.
  17. In a 10-4 game, you shouldn't be pumping your fists and dancing off a mound like a wild man. If it's a 3-2 game and he gets an important punch out, then I don't have a problem with that. Grilli just went overboard with it which was annoying as f***.
  18. One of the things that pissed me off about Grilli. The guy showed too much emotion in times where it wasn't needed. Like him pumping his fists like a madman after getting the final out in a 10-4 game yesterday? What a f***ing idiot. Even when he was with the Jays it annoyed me like crazy.
  19. Some players I could move: OF Nelson Cruz - a big bat who would drastically improve any lineup. Has 20 HR and 75 RBI this season. CF Dexter Fowler - went on the DL today though its not considered serious. He's a solid bat who you could plug into your CF slot and has a nice combination of pop/speed along with getting on-base at a high clip. 1B/OF Matt Adams - Braves moved Freeman over to the hot corner to keep his bat in the lineup; slashing .285/.330/.553 on the season with 16 HR's and 47 RBI in only 246 AB's. 2B Starlin Castro - on the DL though was having a great season to date with the Yankees. SS Troy Tulowitzki - willing to trade Tulo for another similar veteran/struggling player or pitcher to shake things up.
  20. If Jays could steal one tonight that would be nice.
  21. Yonder Morrison Smoak Marwin Owings Hicks Nelson Godley Chisenhall Peacock Cahill Merrifield Avisail Garcia Souza Matt Adams Cozart Am I missing anyone else?
  22. Yeah I could probably get more or something better. I don't really care for Johnson, he's garbage. Frazier is interesting, the versatility Baez offers is nice, and Chapman is meh. I like Sano, though I wouldn't consider him a top 20-30 dynasty asset right now. His high K rate worries me. Still a potential 35-40 HR bat from the hot corner is nice as long as his overall numbers don't hurt you.
  23. Someone in a 20-team dynasty league on ESPN offered me Javier Baez, Clint Frazier, Matt Chapman and Brian Johnson for Miguel Sano. I know Sano is having a good year but wow.
  24. Shopping OF Nelson Cruz if anyone is looking to add a big bat to their lineup. Slashing .286/.369/.515 with 20 HR's and 75 RBI. Preferably would like to add a pitcher who holds similar value, though I am open to anything.
  25. Anyone still want Blue Jays/Cubs tickets for Wrigley in August, send me a PM. Can transfer the tickets via MLB At The Ballpark app.
