    D'Backs are a team that I'm watching out for in the NL. Love their pitching staff of Greinke, Ray, Godley in a short series. Only thing that scares the crap out of me regarding the D'Backs is their bullpen. Can't believe Fernando Rodney is still their closer. If the D'Backs get by the Rockies in the Wildcard game, they won't be an easy first round opponent for the Dodgers.

    Dexter Fowler is expected to be activated sometime this week. Would like to move him + other pieces for a SP if possible.

    RA Dickey right now is what this rotation could have used. Would rather have him than Valdez and the other crap they rolled out with in April/May like with Lawrence/Bolsinger etc.

    Sold my Cubs tickets for Friday & Saturday so just have a pair for Sunday available (bleachers) if anyone is interested or already going down that weekend. Just send me a PM.

    Both players would be nice fits to this roster. Would definitely add balance and some flexibility in case Travis goes down with an injury again.

    Nats are in town when I'll be in Houston, so that should be a good series! As well, the Pats are playing an exhibition game against the Texans! Hoping I could make it up to Dallas to catch a game at Arlington. Never been to the Lone Star state before plus have some friends who live down in Houston, so should be good!

    Won't be going to Wrigley in two weeks. Deciding to go to Texas instead near the end of August. I know I sound like a broken record though if anyone is planning on going to Wrigley to catch the Jays series, I have two tickets to every game. Willing to sell a bit below face as well, so pretty good deal and could save paying in USD and the StubHub fees.

    Watching now as well. Mansbridge is a class act. One of the best journalists/news anchors of our time. Definitely a Canadian icon.

    I don't see any major red flags with Cruz other than his age moving forward. Mariners keeping him as a DH primarily should keep him fresh and should help him avoid nagging injuries. Haven't seen any signs of a major decline with him. I'd prefer to keep Cruz obviously for down the stretch in a perfect world. If I could add another SP that is similar in value, I don't mind rotating Adams and Grichuk in one of my OF or DH spots.

    I would rather pay to see a ball game in San Diego than at the Rogers Centre. Padres suck, though that ballpark is amazing. Hopefully they can field together a good team in the next couple of years. San Diego is a great city indeed and one of my favourites in the US. I'd rather visit San Diego again over cities like Miami, LA, and San Fran.

    Petco Park is amazing though, one of my favourites overall. Great food, great craft beer selection and awesome setting to watch a game. Unfortunately the Padres aren't a good team.

    If only I picked up Mike Zunino when he was a FA. I'll listen to offers on Posey. Probably will be tough to move him, though I'm not opposed to it.

    I'd rather bring back Estrada on a cheap one-year deal as the No. 5 starter instead of Hellickson. Cobb would be interesting though could be expensive especially if he pitches well down the stretch and in the postseason. His K/9 is pretty low, and with him being 29 and already having TJS that could drive down his price somewhat, though teams will pay a high price for starting pitching. If Ian Kennedy got 5 years/$70 million from the Royals last year, good chance Cobb gets something similar.

    He has been alright this season (1.3 WAR) and has some decent pop for a MI. Obviously he'll never be an elite player though still would be a significant upgrade over what the Blue Jays are rolling out with right now. Considering that Tulo is on the decline and Travis being injury prone, Beckham would have been a nice fit here in Toronto as a third MI who can rotate between those two positions. I'd rather give Beckham 400 AB's instead of spreading them out between Goins and Barney.

    I bought an Otani jersey when I was in Japan this spring. Also, saw a Fighters/Tigers game as well, though he was injured unfortunately.

    Still shopping Nelson Cruz if any team is interested in a big power bat. As well, could part with other bats like CF Dexter Fowler, CF Eddie Rosario, and 1B/OF Matt Adams. If anyone wants to roll the dice on Tyson Ross, could move him for a draft pick.

    Yeah considering the market for pitching this offseason, bringing back Estrada on a cheap one-year deal as the No. 4 or 5 starter wouldn't be the worst idea.
