  1. Whose playing the bloody victim?! I'm saying the penalty is pretty f***ing harsh which it is. I'm willing to sit Bumgarner my next matchup against that team (whoever I was facing) but losing a first?! It's the bloody first week of the season. I admit I made a mistake and it's not like this is a common occurrence with me based on my track record in all the fantasy leagues I'm in.
  2. I admitted to the mistake and yes it's my fault. Though to lose a first round pick? C'mon?! I'm losing 9-4 this week anyways and even in ERA as well. I've seen other managers make mistakes by illegal adds and they never lost a 1st round pick. Ridiculous.
  3. I've told you guy's I'm away for a month travelling. Doesn't make what I did right obviously, so I take blame for it. But seriously a first round pick? Like c'mon thats ridiculous. If it was a playoff matchup or late season matchup with playoff implications I understand. Why when I picked him up, he wasn't dropped from my roster by an active commissioner? I don't think he started until a couple of days after I picked him off waivers.
  4. Wow losing a first round pick, seriously c'mon guys. I've been travelling for the last month and don't have access all the time to a computer and have very limited wifi only on my phone. You know I never make mistakes like this in all the other leagues I've been in. Plus it's only week one, it's not a playoff matchup or down the stretch with a match that impacts playoff implications, then I could understand a much harsher penalty. I'll sit Bumgarner for his next start or for the next matchup against the team if impacted (whoever I'm facing, assuming we play again at the end of the season). A first rounder is way too harsh, like seriously. It was an honest mistake.
  5. Really sad. He's only a year younger than me. Cancer can strike at any age. Pulling for Bettis. Hope he recovers and returns to the mound soon.
  6. That's why I'll never take the WBC seriously. Canada could really have a good team if everyone participated. Though never will happen.
  7. Would you guys go more crazy if: A) Blue Jays won World Series Canada won the WBC

  10. Having a WBC BBQ on Saturday. Only the cool BJMB members are invited.
  11. I've never seen such a large gap before between the end of a waiver draft and the start of free agency.
  12. I have a Brett Lawrie jersey, so at least it would become relevant again. Bring him home!
  13. Would like to add Brett Lawrie in the LOD.
  14. I've heard Lawrie is a changed man.
