3 years? 6 million per? Isn't Marleau touching 40 almost? WTF!

Lowry re-signing with the Raptors. 3 years, $100 million. Good!
  3. I'm not sure I do that deal. I think Beckham is worth more in a 30-team dynasty right now due to his age and position eligibility (soon will have 2B as well).
  4. According to Mike Wilner, it's still early.
  5. It's likely they just hold at the deadline without adding or subtracting anything of significance. Likely will see veterans such as Estrada, Happ, and relievers on the block & moved. Will be extremely difficult to move Tulo or Martin. Bautista has 10/5 rights. I doubt they do something drastic like move Josh Donaldson.

I don't think rebuilding is the best strategy for this team right now anyways. The fan support is at an all-time high, they've locked up DeRozan long term, they've been a winning team now for the last 4 seasons (never had that success during the regular season for that long of a period), and they are still one of the top teams in the East if they could bring back Lowry. As well, Cleveland's dynasty could come crumbling down if LeBron leaves after next season, which would leave the door wide open in the East for teams like the Raptors, Celtics, Wizards, Bucks etc. It's not like another team in the East would be a lock to beat the Raps in a 7 game series - I mean sure Boston or Washington could win a series against the Raps, though at least the Raps stand a chance. If the Raptors were in the West, then different story. Seems like all the super teams will be out West, none in the East unless LeBron decides to stay in Cleveland. Even if the Raptors don't win a championship in the next 3-5 years, it's probably just best to make the playoffs every year in hope of going to the 2nd or 3rd round, even perhaps the Finals one year. Keeps the excitement around the organization, market Toronto as a good destination for NBA players & make money from fans in the stands. Also, MLSE has to factor in the Leafs. If the Leafs continue their upward trend of winning and the Raptors decide to rebuild & lose while that happens, everybody will forget about basketball in this city. At least if the Raptors put a winning product on the floor every night, they will fill the arena.
  7. Maybe they've picked up a couple of wins in relief which bumped up their rankings? Otherwise, it's not like they're picking up holds or racking up K's.
  8. We did that exact same trade in the LOD. I remember offering you Goldy first before I traded him in that blockbuster where I got Stanton.
  9. No Bumgarner. Cueto hasn't been elite this season. Awful back end of the rotation. Outside of Posey, they have no other great bats to fill out the lineup. Belt is hitting like s***. Shaky bullpen. The Rockies and D'Backs have improved. It's really an awful team on paper.
  10. Welcome to San Francisco where everything bleeping thing is expensive. As for Giants tickets, mostly could always get them cheaper off StubHub anyways.
  11. I'll take another Phillies prospect crushing AA in Andrew Pullin (cool name). Hopefully he isn't owned on a MLB roster.
  12. I have a thing for Pittsburgh relievers. Rivero would look good with Hudson and Nicasio. Also, if you replace the "o" with an "a" at the end of his last name, that spells Rivera. Just saying.
  13. Jesse Hahn really wanked hard today for me - 2 IP, 9 ER! I'm raging as well.
  14. I'll take Casey Meisner. Sorry for the mistake again.
  15. Yup my bad. Just did a spreadsheet search this morning, so obviously would have missed it.
  16. I checked the spreadsheet and he wasn't owned. I saw Gibbers drafted him in 2015, though he wasn't on his minor league roster when I checked. Unless I was still half asleep this morning and made a typo or if there was a typo in the spreadsheet. Don't have access to the spreadsheet right now, so could someone double check or post the link? If he's already owned I'll make another selection. Thanks!
  17. I'll take Ozzie Albies with my next pick. Will send FTD a PM.
  18. I'll take 3B Mark Vientos. Will make my other pick shortly.
  19. Just replying to the previous comment on how baseball is sometimes weird and it was something that was off the top of my head. He managed to still get the no-hitter, though I'm sure it really wasn't that celebrated especially after what happened. Do you have a problem with that?
