  1. As for trades, my main target at the July deadline would be Andrew Benintendi. Still young, left-handed bat, can play the outfield and hit near the top of the lineup. As a cheaper secondary option, look at Mike Moustakas. Reds will definitely move him and eat some of his salary. Can play 1B/3B and is a left-handed power bat. I like Josh Bell, though I think he'll be too expensive in terms of assets.
  2. I would sign Matt Joyce to a minor league deal. Even look at a guy like Mitch Moreland. At least DHing them would be better than starting Tapia or Zimmer on a regular basis.
  3. Just tell all the hitters to pull the ball more. Bring back Cito!
  4. Even Liberals don't want to live in California anymore. They're all moving to Texas or Arizona.

It's okay, there is always next year for the Leafs!
  6. He's coming from Cincy, so Toronto looks like a 10 to him.
  7. Some posters need to stay calm and carry on

  9. Andrew Benintendi would be the Frank Catalanotto of the 2020s.
  10. Sign both BJ Upton and Justin Upton!
  11. A couple of years ago, the FC Dallas U-15 Academy team beat the U.S. Women' s National Team, 5-2 in soccer.
  12. Have you ever heard of Karsten Braasch, the German tennis player? He played a match against both Serena and Venus Williams when they were 18 and near the top of women tennis. He was 30-years old and ranked 203 in the world. Serena and Venus claimed they could beat any man outside the top 200. Braasch accepted their challenge and beat both of them, playing one set against each. He beat Serena 6–1 and Venus 6–2. This was from a tennis player on the way out who smoked a pack of cigarettes and drank beer during most of his training sessions.
  13. As a Liberatore owner in the LOD, I'm happy!
  14. I thought he was finished since he moved to Fenway
  15. He's hit more HR's tonight in one game than Correa has hit total this season. Kind of funny how my trade in the LOD was met with such negative reaction at the time on how I made such an awful deal. The fact that some people thought Story was this bad and was finished at the age of 29, after the numbers he has put up throughout his career boggles my mind. Granted, its just one game haha, but he's coming around with the bat and I'm pretty confident he puts up very respectable numbers this season. It wouldn't surprise me if he even ranks ahead of Correa at seasons end.
  16. He needs to hit for a really high average in this league or else his low BB% will hurt. That would be my concern with him long term. Otherwise, I do love his power/speed and if he brings a .300+ average every season, no worries.
  17. I'm expecting a Santander trade offer tonight. Waiting patiently by my inbox
  18. Bellinger would be a great buy low right now. I would definitely roll the dice on him.
  19. Trevor Story 2 for 2 with 2 HR and 4 RBI tonight. Ah but he's finished at the age of 29 after a slow month and isn't that great of a hitter now since he's moved out of Coors!
  20. William going crazy!
  21. Moreno makes the most sense to move. Jansen and Kirk are already a solid combo behind the plate, both are still young, under club control and both still have some potential. If the Jays are aiming for a World Series in the next year or two, you want Jansen/Kirk behind the plate, not Moreno. As well, we have seen with some young catchers that they take time to start producing at the MLB level. Not every catching prospect is a Buster Posey, Wilson Contreras, Wil Smith, etc., that comes hitting right out of the gate + handle a pitching staff well. Also, Moreno holds the most value in trade to a team rebuilding, more than Jansen or Kirk. For the Blue Jays, Jansen and Kirk hold more value because they're trying to win a Championship.
  22. I say hit him cleanup. He only has 11 RBI and needs way more!
  23. And the roof was closed, to make it even a crapier game to go to!
