  1. My favourite sections are in the 200 level infield. Smaller sections, comfy seats, smaller lines at washrooms or concessions and IMO a much better view since the net covers the whole infield now. I'll go to a specific game for a certain giveaway, specific team or specific player/pitcher I want to see. Atmosphere in late September or October you can't beat! Would rather save up money for Postseason baseball instead of seeing games in May or during the regular season. Don't care about attending the game on Canada Day, would rather use that money towards a late September game or Postseason game.
  2. I don't either, but I see some people having 4 or 5 beers each. Between 2 people, that's $100-$120. A lot of people blow money on beer and at concessions. I don't do that anymore, such a waste of money. Would sometimes rather just watch the game at home in the comfort of my living room, have a Mill St Organic or two with some chips and watch the game. Saves money on tickets, beer, food, and transit there and back. If I do go to a game, will either eat dinner and grab drinks beforehand at Corks or somewhere close by.
  3. It's like being at a club. The chicks love it haha
  4. Most people are 3 to 4 beers in anyways so they don't care haha
  5. Looking at Boston the last two decades, they have had seasons where they finished 5th in the AL East, but they never have been horrible for a majority of a decade. In 2012 they went 69-93 and placed 5th in the AL East.. In 2013, they end up finishing first in the AL East and winning a World Series. From 2014-2015, they finished 5th two seasons in a row. Otherwise for the most part they've always been in the thick of things in a tough AL East division.
  6. Not sure. Maybe they know something about Boegarts that we don't or they have always had a strained relationship. Though don't think Boston won't spend to bring in talent to upgrade their roster. They won't be stuck in a rebuild for 2-3 seasons lol.
  7. The thing with Boston and New York, if they suck one season really bad, they can spend unlimited amounts of money the next offseason and attract any top FA. We've seen Boston and New York do that before. So many baseball players and pitchers always dream of putting on a Red Sox or Yankees uniform. Boston might suck for this season, but I would be worried about them spending for top talent next season.

Yeah even with Embiid, was going to be tough for the Sixers to beat the Heat. I don't wish injuries upon anyone, but Embiid shouldn't have taunted the Raps like that in Game 6 especially after being up by a large margin. Just play the game respecting your opponents and maybe Pascal or other Raptors don't go as hard at him in the last quarter like that. Regardless, Heat in 4 or 5 games.

If they won Game 3, they would have been the ones in position to clinch for Game 6. That Game 3 definitely would have changed things, but overall glad the Raps fought back and played hard rather than losing the series 4-0. I knew it was going to be tough to make it past the first round given the Raps being a young team, but hopefully this offseason they make 1 or 2 solid additions and could build off a successful 2021/2022 season.
  10. He should still be good for 25-30 HR's with a .240ish batting average and a .750ish OPS.
  11. Blue Jays look like they're the top team in the AL. Even without Bo, Chapman hitting on all cylinders yet. Their pitching in the postseason will be scary in a short series.
  12. Christopher Lloyd and his Angels will for sure come and help!

Can the Raps win Game 6 tomorrow?
  14. Is Jurickson Profar for real this season?

If the Raptors could have squeezed out a win in Game 3, they would be up 3-2 heading back to T.O. for Game 6! Overall, they have played very well and with grit the past three games. Philly the last two games haven't been able to close in. If there is a team that could choke from being up 3-0, it's the Sixers lol.

Raptors holding their own after the first.
  17. ArriveCAN App haha
  18. If Yadi makes the HOF, Martin deserves it as well. But yeah Yadi will be considered a first ballot, and Martin likely would have to wait a couple of years for sure. Posey likely will be a first balloter. What about Mauer? In terms of career WAR, Martin is right there with those three. Sad he won't get the recognition as those three names will.
  19. I would love to see what he can do over a full season as a baseball fan and as a Buxton owner in the LOD. Buxton can be a 7-8WAR player easily if he's on the field.
  20. I know it's far away but if anyone ever wants Bills tickets for this upcoming season let me know. Have seasons for the 2022-23 season in Sec 337 Row 9.
  21. I've been an ump before for house league and it's difficult. I hated it and I made some bad calls myself. Everything happens so fast and you have to make the correct call right on the spot.

Happy to see Barnes be able to play yesterday. If the Raps were able to squeeze out that win in Game 3, damn would have had a series. Will be tough to win 3 more games in a row.
  23. No wonder why my fantasy baseball lineup sucks right now haha!
