What a ******** call! That was tripping lmao!
  2. You're such an apologist when it comes to this team. Blue Jays lost their series against the Mariners because they played awful baseball and had a manager who was overthinking his bullpen with an 8-1 lead. Plain and simple. They shouldn't get a Participation ribbon! I never asked you to make any conclusions regarding the Jays based on the Game 2 loss. Obviously some of the weaknesses of this team were exploited in that game, weaknesses myself and some other posters on here pointed out this team had. Lets hope the front office addresses those weaknesses better this offseason or else 2023 will be like 2022 or 2021 all over again.
  3. I never said anything about them not giving 100% lmao. They just flat out lost and s*** the bead. Stop coming up with excuses for this team.
  4. Talk about throwing away a vote!
  5. Toronto is a socialist paradise!
  6. If they Jays lost a bunch of close games to the Mariners, then you can use the excuse of randomness. They were winning 8-1 in Game 2 and blew it. The team just didn't execute on top with Schneider's mistakes.
  7. A message to the Atlanta Braves, Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Blackhawks. The WOKE Mob is coming after you next!

A lot of upsets today damn.
  9. A combination of bad moves made by Schneider, some bad luck on the bloopers and several players/pitchers not executing. At the end of the day, you shouldn't blow an 8-1 lead and there should be no excuses. The only guy I heard stepping up and taking some responsibility was Romano for some of his pitches. Otherwise, Schneider and some other players kind of just passed it off and avoided owning up to their mistakes.
  10. Bojan Bogdanovic
  11. I know Seattle got swept by the Astros, though a lot of games were pretty close right until the end. You can actually use the excuses such as "bad luck" or "randomness" in terms of their losses. When the Blue Jays lost Game 2 to the Mariners, those were the terms being thrown around by some posters. But since the Mariners got swept by the Astros, their team was "dog s***."
  12. Some posters now are going to come lurking out of their caves and go to war defending how this front office built an amazing bullpen with Anthony Bass, Yimi Garcia, Tim Mayza and Adam Cimber.
  13. It's a fair point and I agree to some extent. Problem with a best of 7 series in the DS means you'll likely have the World Series finishing in second week of November. Even if the NLDS was 7 games this season, the Braves would have to win 3 games in a row now to win the series against the Phillies.
  14. Braves are only losing 4-2. They can still come back and win this game against the Phillies BP.
  15. Best player dealt at the trade deadline haha!
  16. Strider wasn't even expected to pitch that deep today anyways. Was cruising the first two innings and fell apart in the third. That long AB to their 9th hitter + the bad throw over to first really sunk him. He hasn't started a game since Sept 18th I believe, so definitely a little rust and not 100%.
  17. Yeah sometimes they can freeze or lag. Otherwise, for the price you save on cable its still very decent. If you're watching regular programming, it's more than fine. If you're watching an important sporting event, I would stick to Sportsnet NOW or TSN Direct at least. Even still, they could sometimes lag depending on your WiFi. Last thing you would want is to miss an important play or game deciding moment haha.
  18. Get an Android box.
  19. Haha. I'm okay with just the Leafs and the odd Canadian team. Wish they would do something like that for MLB next season. If they did, I would definitely upgrade to the Premium.
  20. Yeah even when I had cable before, would only watch live sports and the odd time something on one of the other channels. Otherwise, its a waste paying $70-80 a month for cable. I'm not renewing my MLB TV subscription for next season since Jays games are blacked out and since I don't watch as much baseball as a I used to in order to justify it. If I were able to watch Jays games, would have still kept it.
  21. Do you have Sportsnet NOW Premium? Only difference is you have all NHL Games?
  22. I paid $169.49 (all taxes in) for Sportsnet NOW Standard. TSN Direct was more expensive - $225 (all taxes in). Both for a 12 month membership. Sportsnet NOW is easier to use since you can download their app on your smart TV or devices. TSN Direct doesn't have an app yet which is very disappointing, so you either have to use Google Chromecast to stream from your computer nearby to your TV.
  23. Did you call or through email?
  24. Thanks for that update. That's $25 USD. Buys me a case of beer for the weekend haha. I'm not renewing MLB TV for next season. I had to also get Sportsnet Now to watch the Blue Jays, and I'm just going to roll with that since they also show out of market games on their other channels.
