    The bigger question we have to ask is why was Dodd available in the FA pool? He should have been drafted during the prospect draft. All you guys know nothing about prospects. Someone like Dodd should already be rostered. It's embarrassing.

    His bat is definitely very good as a catcher. But strictly as a DH? I'm not that crazy unless he turns into a David Ortiz.

    Kirk as a DH only bat this soon is definitely worrisome. While he has a good bat, I'm not crazy about it if he's only a DH. He still should be alright behind the plate though.

    Not many other decent 3B options available via free agency. Not sure if there are other 3B in the trade market, but can't think of any off the top of my head. As for shortstop, weak FA market as well.

    Seems like their success last season was a bit of a mirage. Once Nola and Wheeler get settled in, and once they get Harper back, they should be alright. Though they are not going to the World Series again, that's for sure.
