  1. My DDL team name haha. They need to make a movie about it. Will Farrell should direct it and star in it!

Leafs need to win in 5 games.

Why isn't the NHL season over already? It's crazy that we're already in the middle of April and the Playoffs haven't even started yet. No wonder why the Stanley Cup is always played at the end of June.
  4. Looks like the Rays will lose Springs for a while. As a fan of the game, that sucks especially the start he was having.

Yeah could be a lot of changes next season that's for sure. I would prefer keeping OG and Barnes since they're younger and still have room to grow. Siakam is their best trade chip. I don't see them offering him a max extension and I don't think it's smart tying up all that money. Hope they do re-sign Poeltl. If they bring back FVV and Trent, re-sign Poeltl and offer Siakam a max extension, that's too much money tied up in those players and I don't think the Raps will be able to take that next step.
  6. Yup that's with every pen, though historically both of them were always high strikeout guys. Alvarado with the Rays and Seranthony was always as well. They definitely got hot at the right time and that's with most BP arms since they are so volatile. Hope the Jays can get lucky with one or two arms down in the BP this season. Pop is looking really good so far and hopefully Pearson or Green can make an impact later on.

They pretty much dominated the Bulls for the first three quarters. Everything fell apart in the 4th. Also, shooting only 50% from the free throw line is unacceptable. If they managed to shoot near their season average, they would have been up by 10 or so points. Raps weren't going to get by the Bucks or Celtics anyways if they made it out of the Play-In tournament. I don't think this core is good enough to contend for a Championship, let alone Top 4 seed in the East. I don't think its wise to lock up so much money in guys like FVV or Trent Jr. Also, wouldn't offer Siakam a max contract extension. He's not a guy to lead a team. He's more of a second or third piece on a Championship team. Barnes kept the status quo this season and never really built off his rookie campaign. He needs to take his game to the next level hopefully in the next year or so. Raps need a stronger bench. Depth was a major issue this season and Nurse had to overwork a lot of his starters most of the time. I think some major changes will be made this offseason. I don't see FVV or Trent re-signing. Maybe they explore trading Siakam if they decide not to offer him an extension. It's also a weak FA class I think. We'll see what happens. Masai might have to be creative with trades or else it will be another season similar to this.
  8. I'll go with Varsho today
  9. It's nice and refreshing to see the game move at a better pace and not take 3 + hours anymore. I could watch a west coast game now at 9:30 PM and expect it to be over by midnight at least. That's why I always loved watching Doc and MB pitch. Both always worked fast and kept a great pace when on the mound.
  10. Yeah I'm not sure what Vegas is like during the summer months in terms of tourism, but would be freakin' hot for sure. Might be their low season in terms of tourists. Would need an indoor ballpark like Arizona for sure. If they build a world class ballpark and the team starts winning, don't see why not. Shocked the NBA hasn't moved a team to Vegas yet.
  11. Gonna watch the game at a Joey's. Half price wine night for bottles and happy hour starts at 9PM. Gonna watch both the Raps and Blue Jays.
  12. If anyone wants to sell a bobblehead, let me know.
  13. I think Nashville is definitely an option for an MLB team. Not sure a team would fly in Las Vegas, but hockey and football has. Salt Lake City or maybe Portland or Vancouver out on the West Coast. Don't think Montreal will get one since they're too close to Toronto and they would need a new ballpark.
  14. Wish I picked him up in the LOD. Let's hope he fizzles out and sucks like he did before.
  15. Yeah same here. Wanted to bet Strider today but he's at 9.5 as well. I usually bet if I find guys at good value around 4.5 or 5.5 K's. Or what I'll do is go under pitcher milestones and you can set the K total yourself. I'll sometime lower it to one or two below but you get worse odds obviously. Though if you do a parlay, that's the way to go.
  16. Yeah glad you were able to get one for your son after. As much as I love bobbleheads, better just to buy them off someone from Marketplace or Kijijji couple days after the game if you find someone selling it at a reasonable price like $40-50. You have to wait in line even before they open the gates so you're pretty much lining up 2-3 hours before the game, then you have a bunch of time to kill before the game starts, and you have to then buy expensive food and drinks at the ballpark. When 500 level tickets were like $10, would just buy one from a scalper, walk in 2-3 hours before to grab a bobblehead and leave.
  17. A lot of tickets available for tonight. I bet they will get a lot of walkups or people might decide to go down knowing the roof is open. Raps also playing tonight for their Play-In game so will be busy I expect downtown around the RC and Scotia Arena.
  18. Lmao are they lining up now?
  19. He got the under 9.5 K's on Bet365 last night haha. But still an unbelievable start!
  20. Damn I might change plans and go to the game tonight to get that bobblehead.
  21. f*** Jonn with a big lead. I'll go with Jansen tonight if he's playing. If not, I'll switch my selection.
  22. I expected some regression from him this season, and him to pitch more along the lines as a No. 3 or 4 with an ERA closer to 4 instead of pitching like a 1/2 starter. But yeah there is some concern especially if other guys like Berrios or Bassitt don't pitch well, since that only leaves the Jays with Gausman as their only solid starter.
  23. Bet the Mariners today to avoid the sweep!
  24. KK is looking a lot better than Bellinger that's for sure!
