You must have got a bag of chips and soft drink with that as well.
  2. Interesting debate: would you consider Bryce Harper HOF worthy or as a first balloter? He's had a solid career to date, but looking over his career numbers, he's definitely been overhyped and overrated. Trout almost has double the career WAR over the same timespan. Crazy!
  3. I got Gausman in a parlay for strikeouts. Need 6 or more. Luzardo and Bibee with 5 or more.
  4. Posey was the best catcher in baseball over the last 10-15 years. He put up a 10.1 WAR season in 2012 and won 3 World Series with the Giants. He was just above and beyond everyone else at that position. Sucks he retired early at 34. Like you said, he probably could have strung together a couple more 3-4 WAR seasons. Might have got close to 70 WAR, especially if he never was part of that home plate collision in 2011 which he only played 45 games.
  5. Given the Jays looking to contend, putting Manoah on the mound every 5th day and waiting till he figures it out is hurting them more than helping. As well, if you say its a confidence issue, let him go to AAA and have some dominant outings. Might help him when he gets back up here. Otherwise, he is hurting the Jays more than helping and the goal should be to get him right to being a No. 2/3 starter again. I'm sure the Jays could use an opener for a couple turns then go with Richards or Pearson to follow afterwards.

A Big Mac combo used to be like $6.99 about 10 years ago. Now any combo at McDonalds is over $10.

I'm shocked they're still around. For chain restaurants, Joey's and Earl's are the best for drinks and small bites IMO. Haven't been to Cactus Club in a while, but they're more upper scale but pretty decent. If you want a nice meal, the Keg is still very solid.
  8. Defensively, he provides no value at all. Offensively, he still has solid K/BB ratios (.341 OBP despite a .226 BA). Needs to be an .800 OPS or better bat to at least be productive.

  10. It would just be better to send Manoah down to work things out and hope he can return after the All Star break. In the long term, Jays are a better team if they can get Manoah back to being a 2/3 starter. I don't think Manoah's replacement would be any worse right now. Heck, even use an opener and a bulk reliever if you have to when it's Manoah's turn in the rotation for a couple of weeks.
  11. Budweiser cares so much about their ESG score! As do most big companies these days! They're not pulling out lol. They would be crazy to do so!
  12. Julio Teheran had his magic working tonight!
  13. Nah, Shapiro did publicly criticize him for gutting the farm and wasn't going to give AA the full autonomy he wanted.
  14. Posey will be a first balloter IMO. It might take Martin a couple of years obviously, but he definitely is worthy of being in the Hall.

Boston Pizza doesn't even know what it is. Is it a pizza place? Sports bar? Family restaurant? Italian restaurant?
  16. I'm changing my HR pick now haha.
  17. I don't think Teheran has ever pitched well at the Rogers Centre anyway. Take the over on runs for today.
  18. Unbelievable the Rays are hitting on all these bats. I understand one or two breakouts, but it's almost their entire lineup this season.
  19. So should Manoah lol.
