Eagles were the best bet tonight and of the week. Paid 2.25 money line. Chiefs couldn't capitalize on two big plays that final drive. Two catchable balls. Mahomes outside of Kelce, doesn't really have any other weapons. Chiefs offensively look concerning.

Yeah the tailgate was a blast. Definitely the best part!

Went to the Bills game today. Destroyed the Jets! Tailgated at 1PM which was a blast and the atmosphere at Highmark Stadium was awesome! Can't beat NFL games down in the US!
  4. Max needs to find better things to do at 2AM in the morning on a weekend. Instead he's sniffing out posts where I suggested some last roster spot cheap signings of Austin Meadows, Josh Donaldson or Joey Votto and turning my words around as if I was suggesting them to be all top targets for the Jays this offseason.
  5. You love picking arguments with other posters for no reason Max. I posted this days ago and you decide to respond to it at 2AM in the morning on a weekend. Sniffing and lurking for confrontations and arguments on the Blue Jays Message Board at 2AM in the morning. Pretty sad! You're one of the most condescending posters on this board and this type of response shows. It's because of posters like you why we hardly get any new members posting on here and why some other posters have decided to leave or post less. I really don't know what you're trying to prove. Did I ever say Josh Donaldson, Austin Meadows or Joey Votto should be the Jays first choice of bats they sign? You need to read my posts rather than twist my words around. I said I would roll the dice on them if they came cheap and if the Jays couldn't find any better options. Never suggested Atkins to sign them all as a first choice. But eh twist my words around so you can make a condescending remark towards me! You're really something else!
  6. Still having difficultly haha.
  7. How do you guys post Twitter/X posts on the message board without just the link appearing? Sorry for not being tech savvy enough.

Brady could have still played this season for sure. He should have signed with a team who needed a QB before Thanksgiving. Instead of playing a full season, sign somewhere at the beginning of November, get ready to play for Thanksgiving and start around 8 games to end the regular season and into the Playoffs. Helps keep someone like him fresh. He should do that for next year maybe. Definitely would create a lot of buzz. He definitely would help a team like the Vikings, Jets or Browns.
  9. Garrett Hampson was non-tendered by the Marlins. Could be a nice pickup as a super-utility guy who could play everywhere.
  10. Dodgers also seem like a great fit for him. Would love it though if the Jays could get Woodruff.
  11. Yeah I wouldn't want to sign him to a 5 year deal close to +$100M. If you can bring back Chapman on 3 year deal, would definitely be open to that but he'll likely get more given its a weak 3B class.

Yeah a lot of QBs out long term this season it seems. Sucks to see that. Browns are 6-3, have one of the strongest defensive teams, yet lose both Watkins and Chubbs for the entire year.
  13. Would roll the dice on Austin Meadows if you could sign him for cheap.
  14. He's 36 years old. I like JDM but there is a chance he doesn't come close to repeating his 2023 season. If he comes on a 1-year deal worth around $15M, not going to complain though.
  15. He's another option if he came on a cheap one-year contract. Can't believe he hit 35 HR's in 2019.
  16. Didn't I say only if the Jays can't bring in one of the top 3B available in free agency or via trade? I never suggested the Jays go out and sign JD right at this moment. Obviously no team is signing Josh Donaldson in November.
  17. He signed that contract with the Minnesota Twins after the 2019 season. Yeah he either retires or he signs a cheap one-year contract to play part-time somewhere, similar to Evan Longoria last offseason.
  18. Not saying for him to act all cocky like he was in 2015 and 2016 during his MVP days. His toughness and experience definitely could help and rub off on some of the other players here. As well, he was always a fan favourite in Toronto. There is no risk in signing him to a cheap one-year contract as a bench guy to split time with someone like Barger or Biggio if the Jays decide to go that route and can't get anyone better.
  19. Just was a suggestion if the Jays decide not to target one of the top 3B available in free agency or trade for someone. So yeah obviously he's not my first choice but if the Jays decide to roll with someone like Barger/Schneider/Biggio at 3B, Donaldson wouldn't be a bad option to bring in on a cheap deal as insurance or to split playing time with. The Jays clubhouse actually could benefit having a player like Josh Donaldson around.
  20. Wouldn't mind bringing back Josh Donaldson at 3B to share time with some of the younger guys if the Jays can't bring in anyone better. If he gets around 250-300 ABs as a part-time 3B and DH/bench option, not bad. I think his personality would be a perfect fit for this clubhouse. Think he could definitely make a positive impact in that respect.
  21. 10 second pitch clocks! Would be hilarious!
  22. I need to save my Yahoo login info on my laptop. Wish we could have moved our league over to Fantrax.
  23. Stanton looks like he is completely toast. He was one of my favourite players back with the Marlins coming up. Looked like he would smash 50-60 +HR's every season haha. Hasn't been able to stay healthy and now at his age, his skills are eroding. He's lucky if he cracks the Mendoza line and stays healthy to hit 25 or so HR's. Unless the Yankees ate his entire salary, wouldn't want him.
