  1. Angels clearing payroll to bring back Ohtani haha
  2. Haha yup he was there. Bumped into him at the parking lot where the huge Esso gas station is there and the KFC drive thru, next to the Tim Hortons. He got out of the Sportsnet truck and then went to his car and drove away lol.
  3. Why would they have to gut their core? Complete opposite. All their core players are locked up to team friendly contracts. They could likely sign him at $500M and not worry about adding other players around him with everyone locked up for the next 7 to 10 years.
  4. Thought about it earlier this week, but Atlanta makes a lot of sense for Ohtani if he wanted to sign there. Braves have all their core players locked up to team friendly contracts over the next 8-10 years. They likely could afford Ohtani and don't have to worry about spending on other players to build around him. Financially he won't strap the team since they already have Acuna, Olsen, Riley, Albies, Harris, Strider etc. all locked up to team friendly extensions. Atlanta is a great baseball town and the new ballpark district they've built is amazing and first class. As well, they don't need Ohtani to pitch until 2025 and he would slide right into their rotation since Fried is a FA anyways and will need to be replaced. If Ohtani is concerned about winning, Braves likely to be perennial contenders for the next decade. As well, AA has always been willing to make upgrades and additions to the clubs he's been with, so he has shown a dedication to putting the best team on the field whenever possible.
  5. Only way is if Ohtani is already here or coming in later. CBC guys still here. Shi Davidi drove off as well as the Sportsnet truck haha
  6. I’m a covered aviation photographer on the side so usually I’m around YYZ haha Sportsnet, CBC, and Reuters were here haha
  7. My friend who works at Signature confirmed Herjavec was on that plane, not Ohtani. Unless Ohtani is already in Toronto
  8. Saw Shi Davidi. He thinks hes on the other side which would be Sky Service haha
  9. Ohtani wasn’t on board. It was Robert Herjavec’s plane and he was on board haha
  10. I'll be at the airport doing some photography anyways, so will swing by North Lounge when it lands. If there are any updates, will let you all know.
  11. Bottles of Hibiki Harmony no longer available at the LCBO.
  12. I've got a friend who works at Signature but not sure if he could provide me with intel who is on that flight.
  13. His aircraft is the most tracked flight on FR24 right now haha
  14. Registration is N616RH Likely will park at North Lounge on Derry Road. If I'm around the airport today, will try to catch the arrival.
  15. It's alright, there are still 80 home games to see Ohtani and the new renovations.
  16. Sid definitely responds again tomorrow. Gonna make Breakfast Television must watch TV again haha.
  17. Dickey appeared in 30 games, 29 starts. Whoops! Estrada made 29 starts. The rest made 30+. They also added Liriano at the trade deadline. Actually much more impressive if you ask me.
  18. Don't other teams have similar resources and specialized departments as well? Every time I read about this Jays high performance department and pitching lab on here, it sounds like the Jays have discovered Plutonium.
  19. Are the Jays the only MLB team with a pitching lab and high performance department?
