  1. You know some people believe that bullpen's can fix themselves, but it's hilarious how the Tigers have had bullpen problems for several years now.

  3. If you're going to take projections as the bible then you could at least wait until after the deadline.
  4. lol anything can happen. Projected toast doesn't mean they're actually toasted are you joking?
  5. Have we changed our mind on him yet? He seems to have a decent approach with good power and good defense. Should be better than the garbage year he had last year.
  6. Pompey can't hit big league pitching yet.
  7. Good point. I forgot people cared about the Pan Am Games ha.
  8. You can hedge your happiness by betting against the Jays all the time. It keeps me happy when I bet against the Leafs. You'd think there would've been a better crowd tonight...
  9. lol put your money where you mouth is then!

  11. I'd take Gray for Stroman + something else especially considering you get him for this season and he's already put together a 200 IP season.
  12. It is a surprise. When you think of hall of fame catchers, not too many guys come to mind. I never realized that.
  13. That's a really great point. If you were to go by fangraphs WAR, Jason Kendall is a top 25 catcher of all time!
  14. Didn't Griffey take the least amount of ABs to reach 500 HRs of any player? I don't see how he's overrated. He was a great hitter who ran into injury problems. Agree completely on Jeter. The guy is an automatic hall of famer. Defensive metrics don't like him but so what? He was a great hitter playing SS and also was a true leader of the Yanks.
  15. Of course, but you know what I meant... Not good enough to hit lead off over Reyes and they wouldn't put him in an RBI spot. To be honest I really dislike Billy Hamilton lol.
  16. That is really crazy. He's a terrible hitter IMO but that speed makes him very valuable. Would be an ideal #9 hitter, if there is a such thing.
  17. Looks like he's heavily favouring younger players. Panik is 24, Cain and Blackmon are 29-30. Actually it looks like Panik might be quite a bit more valuable.
  18. Carlos Martinez's innings I've read will be capped this season, so he would be an awful target if they're looking for a playoff push.
  19. The board isn't letting me quote you guys, but another name worth asking about is Farquhar. He also got optioned to AAA after a tough first half. Also I agree Rodney is junk, but they might have to take on some salary still.
  20. Wilhelmsen just got demoted and has some potential. If they can't shed the salary I say take on Rodney, he could turn it around.
  21. It was fan voted. I put Reed Johnson on my ballot .
  22. Anyone else surprised Carter was one of the "franchise four"? Nobody can take away what he did but it's hard to put him over Stieb, Bautista, or even Olerud.
  23. That's a big if and it's not even fair to compare the two to be honest.
  24. To be honest it did look like Frazier was getting pitches thrown to him faster than anyone else and I'm not sure why. I was actually under the impression they needed the ball to drop and it didn't happen with Frazier. I was talking to a friend and he noticed the same thing.
