  1. He's been exactly as we had hoped since coming here. 7-1 with an ERA something close to 2, and is now tied with Chris Sale in AL pitching WAR if you submit to that stat. With Keuchel struggling, does Price have a good shot now if he finishes well? I believe he would be the first Cy Young winner to be traded mid-season since Rick Sutcliffe in 1984, someone correct me if I am wrong on that.
  2. Yeah it looks like they are a bad team but I wouldn't take them lightly. As much as I hate their team and think they suck they still have Ortiz/Bogaerts/Pedroia/Sandoval who are threats. Jackie Bradley and Castillo could be decent hitters. I just don't think they are a total pushover team despite their record. The Braves however are a horrible team and it was a shame the Jays couldn't get to the pen last night.
  3. Teheran had nice off speed stuff and the Jays couldn't lay off. Should've got to their bullpen but that's baseball. Hopefully they can get to Miller a bit tonight.
  4. Careful what you say.
  5. It could happen. They're watching Pineda's innings a bit too, so they could push him back until Saturday then we would see Warren/Severino/Tanaka instead of Warren/Severino/Pineda.
  6. I am waiting for him to put it all together, we all know about his former prospect status and when you watch him his stuff seems very good a la Sanchez (not saying Sanchez is anywhere near as good). I checked, he's using his cutter way more and his GB rate has increased... he could continue to improve. Although yes he's not pitching like a 2.xx ERA pitcher.
  7. It looks like most of the team is at the football game right now, pretty cool!
  8. Nope, but he sucks
  9. Disagree, the Yankees have much more knowledgeable fans on average. People can actually talk ball down there.
  10. lol wish I was smoking what you are!
  11. He's good but I don't know if anyone was buying him as a top 10 pitcher like Price. I know I wasn't
  12. I'm playing him in fantasy and had Scherzer/Tanaka/Fiers today. Awesome news!
  13. Agree. He's obviously not a true talent .330 hitter, but he's squaring up the ball nicely and hitting it all over the field.
  14. It should be Friday so he can pitch vs NY.
  15. Yeah we'll see Pineda which is alright and Price should go on the Monday (I got tix!) and Stroman on the 23rd. It's more just missing Tanaka, he's owned us the last two times. Just by watching, it seems like the Jays are more of a fastball hitting team than most, so he doesn't match up great in addition to being their best pitcher.
  16. Actually, I thought the Yankees played Tuesday-Thursday so they'd use Pineda on Thursday. So we'll see Pineda most likely. I am wrong. You are right. Congratulations.
  17. I agree, they are better than every other team. I'd take them over the Royals if those two played.
  18. We will for sure see Tanaka and Pineda. Possibly Severino.
  19. Rangers. Am not convinced they are legitimately a good team. Hamels would be tough, Gallardo has been annoying but that's about it.
  20. Sucks for them. I don't think Bird is very good.
  21. All else being equal a packed house is more fun. Although it's funny when bandwagoners try to talk ball. I was at a bar last night and these guys were talking about how great Colabello is lol.
  22. Not sure why people respond to him lol
