    Some of the morons on this board need to learn that stats arent the be all, winning is. Stats are just supposed to be a way of projecting wins. JFAS emphatically stated that Morrow didn't have a problem. Two starts later he was done.

    Which is why I would trade him for something we really need like a decent starter. Most of the stat nerds on here don't know a thing. Two starts before Morrow went down I thought he had a problem. Just from looking at him. The idiot simply said no there was no problem. Stats are not everything, just a beginning in analysis.

    And no i just know that we need some reinforcements if we want to continue to win. Having Lind is extraneous. If we could get a pitcher or good minorleaguer for him then great.

    People complain about Gaston all the time even when he won the WS.

    The approach that goes with that is an RBI skill. The hitter that went for an upper deck homer would have poor skills.

    Think about this: it's the bottom of the ninth, man on third and first. Your team is down by one. The RBI skill would be does the hitter have a good plan for what he wants to do or is he a hacker. It's like the difference between a pitcher and a thrower.

    What I'm saying is move him down in the order if that's what it takes. Maybe we need a higher obp guy with lesser slugging batting fifth.

    It can be if he has to put his body at risk. Every time I see Reyes sliding I don't think he'll get up. That's the only player that makes me think that.

    Then leave the thread. There's a lot of threads that I find useless but don't mention, I just stay away from them.

    Fine then the batting order needs to be adjusted to take advantage of this. Maybe he should bat6 or 7.

    If they are the same then maybe we need to drop him in the order to drive in some runs.

    There is an argument that the ops+ will lead to the runs. I just don't see it in Lind. I'd love to see his stats split between RISP and bases empty.

    All I'm getting at is I would love to trade Lind. I don't see the value of him and Francisco when we can't afford a starter.
