  1. Nice! Couple things.... Your link for Watson goes to the wrong guy though, here's the right link to fix https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=watson002rya Also, Khal Stephen isn't right out of high school, he's 21 and pitched in the NCAA for 3 years prior to being drafted.
  2. Double, moved over on a fly out, then a sac fly... I'll take that from 6-9 anytime.
  3. Like I said, comes and goes. He just had it against Heinemen and Gimenez. NEither had a chance in hell.
  4. His stuff is straight filth. Command comes and goes clearly but when it comes... it's nasty.
  5. No big hit... Williams found his command against Heiny and Gimenez
  6. CB Bucknor had a lot to do with that. Barger and Clement both
  7. I mean.. he was very clearly not running in the runners lane... but f*** that. Sucks to see him hurt.
  8. Ump show....Jesus christ this zone is awful
  9. To be fair, a +6 run diff should be about a .500 record, maybe 12-10 at best. They vastly overperformed their run diff during that hot start and that overperformance is still factoring in to their current W/L record despite giving up far more runs than they're scoring. That said, the Ws are still already locked up and Pythagorean w/l isn't perfect. However, it's still something ya look at and think... f***...they really need to start scoring runs consistently, which means hitting for power. Without that power component, we all know the record will slip if the pitching isn't near perfect.
  10. Anyone have a good stream for this game?
  11. I'm not watching, just following on GameDay. The usual idiotic decision-making by Vlad?
  12. Probably. Dudes just coming back k off a fairly major injury and he legit sucks against LHP. Straw is like 99% as good in CF and has been good with the stick so far. Seems like a very defensible move.
  13. Countdown to Yimi's arm falling off is getting closer to 0.
  14. Jose Ramirez becomes the first CLE player with 250 HRs and 259 SBs. Criminally underrated player by MLB fans.
  15. Fair enough. He just doesn't bring what the Jays need in their lineup. Yeah he'd likely be an okay fill-in short-term, or a guy thye could call up for a doubleheader as the extra man, but...nothing exciting.
  16. Yeah, he looks a bit lost at the plate. Which circles back to my point though, he's not gonna learn to adjust to MLB pitching in AAA. That's why it's a tough call.
  17. At least Vlad struck out on strikes. Bo was up there swinging at butterflies
  18. It's gotta be getting close. Maybe another week more so as it's exceptionally clear he hasn't been able to make the adjustment. On the other hand... his D and baserunning have been fine, and it's impossible to learn to adjust to MLB pitching in AAA. Tough call.
  19. 110 EV on the Barger line out with xba of .710 Swing speed 80.1 Boy can get around with the best of them.
  20. You mean the 29 year old who's 5'9 with 0 power. Has good contact and walks a bit? Has over 250 PA in the bigs with the Angels and has like a 0.030 ISO? Forgive me if I'm unenthusiastic about this profile.
