  1. Gotta keep in mind that most people watching right now are dumb as f*** and will actually think the announcers are saying true things.
  2. So hard to predict 1 game outcomes. So much random s*** can happen with next to no time to react or make up for mistakes. Go Cubbies
  3. It's low hanging fruit at this point.
  4. Providing comparisons doesn't mean advocating for 1 or the other. Please upgrade your reading comprehension skill. Btw, you compared them twice in your post after stating that people should stop comparing them. Idiot
  5. No, just the stats from this season, not career, which were posted prior to the end of last night's game. McKinney 112 Teoscar 107 I think the major differences between the two are simple. Neither are good defenders though small sample size issues exist with McKinney numbers, I didn't feel like he was a butcher out there at all, but Teo is just lost. He has no skills defensively except speed which doesn't make up for his terrible reads and routes. McKinney walks more, but Teo has more power. McKinney probably has the higher floor, lower ceiling and lower risk of reaching some midpoint. Teo would probably have the higher ceiling, lower floor and higher risk.
  6. Probably Grichuk, Pillar, Borucki and Happ would be the top. I'd bet Stroman has much better peripherals than Borucki though
  7. Mckinney 118 wrc+ Teoscar 108 wrc+
  8. Scioscia finally confirmed to be gone. Another dinosaur put out to pasture. And the O's finish with the 15th worst win % since 1900. Only other modern team worse was the 2003 Tigers,
  9. To be fair, they're a much better team at this point.
  10. Martin's future as a manager is questionable given he decided to hit Pillar in the leadoff spot. Unless it's just a nothing gesture to the longest tenured Jay to hit there in a meaningless game.
  11. I cut several very obvious gay jokes from my responses to said restaurant.
  12. Holy s***
  13. While that's certainly true, he's not wrong in this case
  14. Catherine Mullaly, the Crown prosecutor, told Judge Melvyn Green she and the detective in the matter had spoken on the phone with Cota, with whom Osuna has a three-year-old son and is currently in Mexico, where she resides with her family and the child. During that conversation, Cota said she wanted to resume contact and parenting responsibilities with Osuna, had no fear for her safety and would not return to Toronto to testify if a trial date was set. Doesn't really seem like much if the person isn't willing to testify, wants to resume co-parenting with the person and charges are withdrawn without any admission of guilt. Not that this will shut any SJWs up, but it should
  15. I can't stand the 40 second play clock, 400 time outs per game, or the fair catch.
  16. Tell me NFL calibre talent playing the CFL game wouldn't be way better?
  17. The start of a beautiful friendship
  18. When you don't record on a phone line, that's pretty impossible. These days podcasts are recorded digitally on things called computers.
  19. Yeah, politics, social justice and all that s*** just.... f*** off and leave sports alone. When I watch a sport, i want to watch the sport, not hear about the world's fake problems from people who wouldn't know fake news from fake tits.
  20. Thankfully Shapiro and Atkins are intelligent and would never hire that crusty old moron unless there's a janitorial opening. But you're right, the meltdown would be incredible.
  21. Keep typing dude. Me replying to you about baseball and trying to have a conversation of any substantiance is like Neil Degrasse Tyson trying to explain astrophysics to a poodle.
  22. Oh ya, forgot about him. 3 - 0
  23. Number of posters here who were very into sabremetrics and advanced analysis who became swiftly employed by pro baseball organizations: 2 Number of posters here who think speedy/slappy hitters are ireal leadoff men and pitchers like Borucki are #1 pitchers because ERA and stuff who have been swiftly hired by pro baseball organizations: 0 Enjoy the flat earth bud. I feel for you. My empathy for your willful ignorance is legitimate. But as they say, ignorance is bliss.
  24. I find it's better not to waste time explaining things to people that aren't interested in listening and learning and would rather evaluate pitchers based on subjective feelings, useless stats, unquantifiable garbage and whose blathering pretty much amounts to nothing more than "Durrrrrr ERA and stuff" rather than talent derived metrics. When you're ready to move beyond the 1950s, let me know and i'll bring out the flashcards for ya. And calling people turds, Dicks (capital D even) and telling them to suck your cock definitely gives you more credibility.
  25. Jesus......
