  1. I honestly don't know what's worse, the idiotic bunts.... or the fact that Buck drools over them like they're godly baseball skills.
  2. It's just a classic example of Norm's humour. The clip has like 5+ layers of comedy going on at the same time
  3. Then I see you missed the joke entirely.
  4. It's harder to watch them now and laugh like I did earlier in life, some of the material is just very 80s centric. Almost like how Star Wars was groundbreaking and absolute mind blowing when it came out. But watching it now..... still great, but not quite the same experience
  5. Really? Louis CK is a comic genius. Yeah Eddie Murphy and Chris Rock are great.... comedic legends no doubt.
  6. Seems you have a myriad of companies. Yup. I went there.
  7. My top 5.... George Carlin, Richard Prior, Louis CK, Dave Chapelle and Norm MacDonald.
  8. Kind of along the same lines as our STD intro for the podcast. Say 5 names and then ... "4 guys who are gonorrhea free...." etc
  9. Anything short of a sellout would be embarrassing now that the Maple Laughs are out. So.... probably 30k max.
  10. I have a problem with this you weak ass honky, white bread cracker.
  11. Unless the 1st pick is a potential generational consensus #1 pick, which is virtually never the case in case in baseball, gaining 1 spot isnt something to really be all that happy about. Doubly so given the idiotic nature of bonus pools and how great players are available throughout the first few rounds
  12. No kidding. Tanking is never a good idea in baseball. Not trying to win 100 games is different than tanking though.
  13. Not to say they'd use it often, just in the stats they'd need to cover Shoemakers starts, and depending on how many months Sanchez misses with his fingernail issue.
  14. Weird sets to start the 2nd half though .... looks like they're playing in quicksand. This is also about the time the whistles should all start to favour the losing team
  15. I wonder if this will be the trigger for use of an opener.
  16. Objectively, this sucks.
  17. True, but the skill of being able to consistently miss bats is decidedly more effective than hitters being able to make contact with virtually everything, and hoping the ball goes directly to a defender.
  18. There's also a chance some of those names get extended rather than traded.
  19. Who is Hector Gomez and why should we believe it?
  20. You must be new here. He needs to learn how to be a better professional and teammate. Seriously. Wake up
  21. Hard to say at this point. His sample size is so small in his minor league career so far, but at the same time, those small samples have gotten better each year so far as he progesses up in level. 23 in high A as a hitter isn't atrocious but it's not good either, he's striking out more but also walking more this year ..... again small sample. Babip is near .500 this season which is certainly not sustainable, you might expect it in the mid .300s given his numbers in the past, but .500 is just not gonna continue. Safe bet is no, cuz prospects.....but you don't have to squint very hard to see some potential.
  22. Yeah Maile and Thornton are not speaking the same language here. Both were strikes too yet it's 1-1
  23. No s***. The mirage just hit one thats gonna land in the Sahara
  24. I have 2 diplomas from community college. Pretty sure that's like a few credits away from a doctorate
