  1. Having been right behind 3rd base yesterday I can say with certainty he’s lost no weight. Didn’t look bigger either. Status quo. It’s unfortunate though Because if he drops a bit of weight it could make his feet a bit quicker and give him at least an outside shot at not being a 1b bat by Next season. It could end up costing him millions of dollars down the line...though I guess as a guy who’s already set for life that may not factor into his thought process.
  2. Notes from the game in Bradenton today as I was in attendance: Pearson is unreal and as weird as it sounds, it looks like he could still add muscle to his frame. He also won me a few drinks because no fans there knew he could throw 100. Zeuch was laughably bad. His walk of shame down the baseline alone after being torched was like sadness personified. Alejandro Kirk is even rounder in person than he looks on TV. O’Neil Cruz Is somehow a legit SS at 6 foot 7. Incredible upside potential even if he moves off short, the dude has scary power and looks like he could use Joey Cora as a bat. He murdered the baseball off Zeuch. I think Vlads homer hit the netting in left field before the sound of the bat crack could be heard. Only a slight exaggeration.
  3. Anyone know if Spats is down in Florida yet?
  4. Then whomever programmed your unfinished program is decidedly weird.
  5. I'd say the players that died, and their families have had decidedly shittier luck than the Angels.
  6. That one was mine. For some reason, my wife still hasn't clued in not to open the door to the cat treats while the podcast is going on.
  7. Vlad's swing looks very bad right now
  8. The only percentage Buck is even remotely authoritative on, is the alcohol percentage of whatever he puts in his coffee.
  9. Terdicktuck won't show his face around here until Gurriel goes cold again.
  10. In every situation, a HR is better than a double. Every single one.
  11. This just in from Buck Martinez.... Doubles are bether than home runs because when you hit a double, you end up in scoring position. When you hit a home run, you don't. How.....the......f***......is......he......employed.......as......a.......baseball......anything?
  12. Generally..... Alan is the guy who sounds gay, and goes off on tangents Andrew generally disagrees with Alan on everything. Nick is more soft spoken, the logical mind. Might be Jewish? Mike is usually the guy whose talking when Alan interrupts. Also may or may not have gonorrhea. I'm the host.
  13. Nah. Like everyone, he should stick with his strengths.
  14. Can I get a scouting report on Kleinstein? Never heard of him
  15. Not sure what the fuss is about. He's got the 4th lowest swinging strike rate on the team at like 9% and his exit velocity is still very good. The 1 big outlier is his ground ball rate which is just .... stupid high and obviously wont continue, nor will a .217 babip. When this all corrects itself it will be a wonderful show to watch.
  16. #of pitches thrown by Jordan Hicks at 100+mph so far this season: 77 The rest of MLB combined: 67
  17. FIGHT THE POWER cf
  18. The only X stat that Buck and Pat would be aware of is ..... Uh... Nope. I got nothin
  19. Now show Sanchez's numbers from yesterday and tell me why people s*** on Thornton but have a hard-on for Sanchez.
  20. He looks for things that inflate his ego....so yeah, he spends a lot of time there
  21. So the question you're really asking is.... Overall the run expectnacy goes down, but that's an average of all runs that have scored in that scenario. Some of those scenarios would be multiple runs scored, some would be 0, some would be 1. You're asking if teams score 1 run more often than scoring 0 runs or multiple runs?
  22. We must be watching 2 different games. Yes he's cracked off a few good pitches at times, and had 1 really solid inning. The remainder he's been hit really hard, walking way too many guys and getting lucky the hard contact is right at the fielder's, or great defensive plays. Results are good, but overall his start has not been good. Also, I don't hate Sanchez. Please feel free to invent whatever narratives you want though.
  23. Sanchez is pitching like dog s*** and getting stupid lucky right now.
